From the admission board ...the long awaited
unilorin ....admission list ..will be out
unfailingly..and also no more anticipation 28
September by 12:30pm..pls stand by and pray
...for God mercy to intervene in urs
..admission... Moreover the admission list was
delayed for NUC &JAMB to increase their quota
...which has now been approved ...unilorin ll
now admit more than 12,000....
The Vice-Chancellor explained that the
University gives equal opportunity to all its
admission seekers. “There is equal
opportunity for all students from every state
of the federation and we have been adjudged
as the most compliant university by the Joint
Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB)”,
he said.
“Take for example, our admission quota for
the medical school is 150. It means we
cannot accept more than four students from
each state of the federation including the
FCT. This is why you have students who
meet the cut-off requirements but still don’t
get admitted”, the Vice-Chancellor explained.
Prof. Ambali, however, disclosed that only
about 7,800 applicants out of the 65,000 that
sat for this year’s post-UTME screening of
the University would be admitted. He said
that the management had complained over
this low admission quota to the Joint
Admission and Matriculations Board (JAMB)
through the National Universities Commission
(NUC).
“The management of the University had
written a letter to the Joint Admissions and
Matriculation Board (JAMB) through the
National Universities Commission (NUC) over
the matter with a view to looking into it so
that the allocation could be increased in
subsequent years,” he said.
Prof. Ambali said that the University expected
a higher allocation of admission slots with
the present developments in the institution,
adding that it now has more facilities, more
academic programmes, and more staff.....

Www.punchng.com-------->ANGRY mob on Thursday hurled water sachets and
stones at a tent under which the Senate President,
Bukola Saraki and some other dignitaries sat, at the
Eid-el-Kabir prayer ground in Ilorin, Kwara State
capital. Amid shouts of “ole” “ole” (thief! thief!), the
mob, made up mainly of youths and workers in the state,
reportedly defied security operatives at the Eid-el-
Kabir prayer and threw objects at the tent. Saraki
was reportedly smuggled out of the area by
security operatives. The Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Sulu
Gambari, who arrived at the venue at 10 am, five minutes after Saraki,
reportedly met the mob hurling sachets of pure
water and stones at dignitaries including the Senate
President. The tent also accommodated the Emir;
the Chief
Imam, Alhaji Muhammad Bashir; the state House of Assembly speaker, Ali Ahmad; and a former Acting
national Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party,
and now a chieftain of the All Progressives
Congress, Alhaji Kawu Baraje, among others. One of
our correspondents reports that the state-
owned radio station, Radio Kwara, which had been transmitting the event live at a point, discontinued
its broadcast. Hundreds of faithful, who could not
get to the
prayer ground because of gridlock, but who had
been following the proceedings on the radio, were
unable to observe the congregational prayer because of the transmission stoppage. It was learnt that a coaster bus conveying the Vice
Chancellor, University of Ilorin, Prof.
Abdulganiyu
Ambali, and others, was also vandalised in the mayhem with eight persons in the bus sustaining
injuries. Haaaa, no wonder!!!
...aspirants that have been waiting for admission list
into the University of Ilorin, the admission list is not
coming out again o o , V.C don vex o!!!!

d result should b out his month no matter wat sinz dey r to finish all admission registration fully by October as ordered by JAMB
