What other example do you want? You call your loved ones honey and you call it endearment.
I asked who made it so but you can't say!

There are very few justifications for lying in Islam. The Prophet sallallaahu`alayhi wa sallam (may Allah exalt his mention) directed us to tell the truth, even under the harshest circumstances of oppression. However, one may choose not to tell the truth when:

* He is being oppressed and there is a real danger to his life if he speaks the truth. Shaykh As-Sa'di may Allah have mercy upon him narrated the following story: "A cruel king ordered an innocent villager present in his court to be executed due to the villager's lack of manners. Hearing this, the villager began cursing the king in his native language. The king asked his minister, who understood the man's language, to tell him what the man was saying. The wise minister, instead of telling the truth, told the king that the man was sorry for his conduct and was praising his greatness and pleading for his mercy. The king was affected and therefore spared the life of the innocent villager." Shaykh As-Sa'di called this: "A lie with wisdom."

* To promote harmony between spouses. For example, if one's wife asks him if she is beautiful or if he loves her, there is no harm in answering in the affirmative, even if this is not the case.

* While making peace between two quarrelling parties, so that the ordeal would not ignite into something worse. The mediator in such a case may falsely tell one party that the other is speaking highly of them.

* To make the unbelievers realize the truth. When Prophet Ibraaheem, may Allah exalt his mention, broke all the idols except the largest of them, the unbelievers entered the temple and saw the smashed idols. Ibraaheem, may Allah exalt his mention, had placed the axe in the hand of the chief idol. The disbelievers asked: "Who broke our gods?" He, may Allah exalt his mention, said: "Ask the chief idol, he has the axe." They replied: "Do you not know that he cannot speak or act?" Ibraaheem, may Allah exalt his mention, replied: "This is what I have been telling you, so worship Allah rather than these stones that cannot harm or profit you."

I think you should now bring the justification for lying in Christianity
so, to summarise-
taqqiyah is d justification of lies?
ok, case closed.

If you are sensible you would have got the gist. Just because everyone use them as words of endearment doesn't make every one a liar right?

So in essence I call honey "honey" and I can also call my wife honey though she ain't honey!

I can also call her Angel despite the fact that she ain't no Angel!

Who gave us this rule? And why do you accept it as not lie and call the Islamic one a liar?

And Christianity is not dubious from those Bible verses I quoted right? Hypocrite is your name. However, you are still required to explain those bible verses I quoted to you.

Exactly, this is important. There is no compulsion in Islam. If anyone forces me and is a threat to my life, I will denounce Islam in my mouth but never in my heart. So how does this say we should lie as we like without compulsion?

As a Christian you should die for what you belief right?

Is this saying we should lie too? And what infidels are being referred to? This is a deliberate misinterpretation from you just like Boko Haram misinterprets!

What happened before and after this? Bring us the full gist as I had require. The onus is on you to substantiate your assertion!

The contradictions you created for yourself. There is none in the Qur'an. You may keep looking. Why did you run away from explaining the full gist behing that hadith. That will surely expose your lies!

And mind you I answered you succinctly before moving to your Bible which you have failed to explain.

You may say whatever you like about Islam, Allah, etc. I once practiced Christianity heartily. I have seen what I ought to see. I pray I die in Islam with the mercy of Allah!

Jesus can't save himself! And i don't think i will ever worship one who can be killed by the creations he created!
dis last part is funny o!
maybe I'm wrong, but I tot d Bible says Jesus WILLINGLY gave himself up? as in a disciple cutting someone's ear and Jesus stopping dem- dt quote, live by d sword, die by d sword.
meanwhile-
all those killing in d name of their god, r d gods handicapped?! cheesy
& I'm sure ur aware dt most of d Islamic nations today were by conquest, so which one is "There is no compulsion in Islam"? how does dt work- especially with things like honor killings, "blood of baboon & dog", etc?

If the need falls into the categories I highlighted it is not a lie. If thieves enter your room and asks you if you had a wife, will you tell them yes, that you hid her in the toilet?

No, you tell them your wife is not in the room!

A couple had a little fracas and you are the intermediary. The wife spoke ill of the husband. The husband spoke ill of the wife. You have to settle the matter and transmit good between them.

This are circumstances beyond one's ability. In a normal situation one is not expected to lie. And telling lies is sinful.
again, u justify lying, then say lying is sinful.
how is it different from wot d lady said?

Following the spike in COVID-19 cases in Nigeria, stakeholders in the health sector, including the Nigeria Medical Association (NMA) and the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN) have called on the federal government to extend the nationwide lockdown and institute stricter implementation of measures put in place against community spread of the disease.
The 14-day ban on interstate travel and curfew declared by President Muhammadu Buhari to address the pandemic expires Monday, and he is expected to make a new declaration for extension of the health protocol or open up the country for normal activities.
But the newly elected President of the NMA, Prof. Innocent Ujah, during an interview with THISDAY Sunday said with the COVID-19 cases obviously climbing, it would not be out of place for government to extend the lockdown and institute stricter implementation, as this would help slow down the spread of the virus in the country.
He said: “But for this to happen, government should also ensure there are palliatives on ground for the poor. People on lockdown who make daily stipends will be affected. They should be provided with support.
“We have so far had a six week lockdown. What has the implementation and compliance been? Have people started using face masks? Are Nigerians following social and physical distancing protocols? Did the implementation of the interstate lockdown work? We know social distancing is the most difficult protocol for Nigerians to comply with. In homes with ‘face-me-I-face-you’, are these protocols followed? These are information we should know before a new order is made.
“By now government should have told us the research it has done, and compliance level of this policy of lockdown. It should always take decisions based on scientific evidence. If these measures weren’t followed, thereby causing increase in the cases, it should further implement them,” he added.

On his part, the President of PSN, Mr. Sam Ohuabunwa, said it would be a mistake for the government to relax its healthcare protocols completely, especially as COVID-19 cases were still climbing in the country.
He said: “If we are to depend on science, it means government should not loosen up completely when infection rates are climbing. What government needs is gradual easing while it maintains some restrictions.
“If government opens up interstate and air travels, then we should be ready to have a spike in COVID-19 cases. This will not be very good for us especially because of the state of our healthcare which is very fragile. We don’t have sufficient isolation centres, we don’t have enough medical personnel, we don’t have enough personal protective equipment to handle major crisis associated with the pandemic. We are still having an increase. This is not the time to ease our protocols,” he added.
While calling on Nigerians to remain where they are as the virus will not move if they don’t move, he said government should enforce all the regulations earlier put in place, including the 8:00 pm nationwide curfew, interstate travel and closure of its airspace, adding that easing of lockdown should only happen when COVID-19 cases are flattening.

There's nothing like telling lies in Islam. However having said this, some cases may permit one to "technically lie". For example, in reconciliation between spouses the wife /husband may speak evil of the other spouse. The reconciler tries to settle the matter by speaking good between them only.

Another example is in war.

And there can also be equivocation. For example, A thief visits to rob and ask where is your money?

The response is "I don't have any money on me" or "There's no money in my hand" or similar words. (And truly there's no money on me or in my hand. The money may be in the bank or somewhere else)
Except in these stringent cases lying is not permitted in Islam.

Stop spreading falsehood and your ignorance about Islam. It pays to keep mute if you don't know. All doctrines of Islam are derived from the Qur'an and Sunnah. If Taqiya is an Islamic doctrine then it should be from our Books.
ur aware dt wot u wrote is actually in support of 1Sharon's claims, right?
if ur permitted to lie in certain circumstances, what's d line/limit u must abide by?
wot stops any Muslim from claiming a political or economic action requires lying, to "safeguard" Muslim lives or interests?
