What does it mean for my brother in-law to be shouting at a grown a*ss man like me because I went out to watch match while the wife (my sister) and him with their children came to visit us on a Sunday evening.

It's not as if nobody was at home to receive them. My mum though sick, but could walk by herself and get stuffs for herself even attend to visitors, and I have been at home all day and decided to go watch match that evening when they arrived.

When he called me to know where I was, I told him that I was at a viewing center to see a football match, he nonchalantly told me to come home because he is at our home with his family. I told him that I am still watching match that later I will call him when the match was over. He began ranting on phone that why should I tell him that I would not come back home till I am done with what I was doing.

I felt somehow though but I didn't react.

I jejely finish watching my match then I proceeded home. When I got home, I wanted to greet him by normal handshake, he hesitated a little but sha shook my hands.

I no send am. I tried to play with my nephew them. He now started getting angry and was asking why I told him that I will not be home till when I was done with football that I was seeing.

I don't blame him, its because he see me for house and I still dey chop Mama thank you, that's why he has the gut to ask me such questions.

I kept my cool and didn't respond because i don't want to cause an uproar.

I just casually said "No vex boss" like two times during the rant.

My father was even supporting him, imagine.

After the rant I just went outside with my headphone to receive breeze in the compound. I don't have time for any problem with anybody.

Maybe it's because of the little advice he gives to my father about how I should go and learn trade or what?

I just weak for some people.

Wo like this ehn, next time my dad invites me to come and have meetings with him present about my future or anything concerning me. I will expressly tell them I am not interested aswear.

I don't want such a person to have a hand in my life or to help me with anything.

I hate insult with my life.

I rather die poor than to be helped by such an individual.

I have tried to reason with my dad but I believe he is blinded by the small helps he gets from the guy.
