So sad!!! i ordered for some stuff from MACY's website (brand with chain of department stores in the US) and made payment using my NAIRA MASTERCARD using a relative address as my shipping and billing address. i got an alert for the debit charge and then attempted to track the order. Alas! i discovered within a short time after the transaction the order was cancelled. And then i discovered an email had been sent to me notifying of the cancellation and requesting i contacted their customer care line. So i went ahead to call the number just to inquire why the order was cancelled.

Now this is funny part. She goes on to ask the billing address and i tell her its a relative but i used my card from naija because they dont have Nigeria listed among the countries they ship to internationally. She requests for a little time to make inquiries. Gues what? She returns with that thank you for interest in Macy's blah blah blah speech and then caps it up saying unfortunately they no longer do business with that region (Nigeria) now and in the future

According to Gordons, i chock!!! I mean i know the country image is been battered by the day with the atrocities of our YAHOOZEE brodas but didn't think it is so bad. What could i have done but to say NO PROBLEM in between all her fake apologies. The solution here is probably buy locally, get someone over there to buy and pay online for you or wait till you travel to shop if dem go give you visa ooo.

abegi! what kind of yeye talk is this. nonsense testimony! baseless talk! so does it mean we dont have forensic experts in nigeria that can carry out proper investigation? he couldnt even lie small that there were material exhumed from the site which points to the probability of controlled demolition.. why are we so shameless in this country? that DSP or woreva he is has the audity to say he thinks its controlled demolition because of the cctv coverage from synagoge and is quoting statement by a survivor which doesnt even make sense.

Chai!!!! why dont we value human lives in this country. okay! so who controlled the demolition naa? Boko boys? APcians? CAN? abi naa ANK (Assoc. of Nign kpians). I tire. Who do we then hold responsible for the death of those people? Has money exchanged hands? Only God Almighty knows and time will definitely tell. Because that it not the only mega church in Lagos so why should they be a target for CD? fuming!!!!

Some expansive schools are crap.
I would rather get my kids to a school that builds conscience and character in them along with excellent academic experience than some expensive pampering centre that produces insolent children that are brilliantly good at cramming

thats exactly what im trying to avoid. I really dont want to be swayed with all those big name. for me discipline, spirituality and academic excellence is key. no fake lifestyle...

Thanks. ...any ideas on the fees? I also hear faith academy otta is good. pls any more inputs. sale of forms begin january. I need to be well informed so I can make the best choices available. counting on you guys

Although I'm not too sure about the present, in my time, Unity Schools could give you those.

I did go to a unity school during my time but you will agree with that the system is collapsing by the day. They go on strike almost as frequent as universities. Well i used the phrase moderate because i find it almost ridiculous to pay 2m yearly for secondary education IMO. Perhaps 250k -300k per term would be comfortable threshold . What happens when the child gets to University. Moreover most of these high profile schools dont turn out so fantastic products most times. As a matter of fact, they hardly attend external competitions or have fantastic WAEC/ SSCE ratings.

Dear Nairalanders...hoping you can bail me out. Im trying to inquire about secondary schools in Nigeria with good academic standards, decent boarding facilities and moderate school fees. I would appreciate if you can give a genuine range of the fees charged. Hoping you guys can bail me out especially those of you whose kids/ wards recently got admitted to schools this september.
