The maturity date duration is 9 - 12months under a year after the maturity date, it could be harvested two times yearly after first harvesting, A stand could produce at least 2 bunches and 1 bunch is sold @ #400 minimum, Land lease or Buying not included be NOTED. Therefore, #400x2 =#800 for 2 bunches, #800x 700 standing minimum growing up suckers = #560,000 minimum target After 1st year of the investment.
Also, one stand can produce 2 to 4 suckers round itself which could be sold @ #150 each in the second year to other farmers, the total output for first year after maturity date will be low but in all capital will surely back with little gain but 100% above profit turn of your start up capital is assured to achieved in the second year, The most beautiful and achievable thing in planting plantain is that, the production of the 1st year can double that of the 2nd year. Therefore, you can easily get double of your output for the 1st year in the 2nd year, and it continues like that. Also it is a permanent investment with 4 years minimum duration on Plantain Farming before reinvesting. year 2 to 4 will only charger weeding fees and managing fees 3 to 4times weeding be noted.
