alcohol drinking becomes a problem wen u are a heavy drinker.if u drink lightly it is not a problem.And hope u are not a smoker,if u smoke too much they would know....

they ask questions like,have u been tested positive to hiv,are u a regular drinker of alcohol,have u tested positive to any std,do u have tatoos,are u a drug addict and many other minor questions

I'm heading to humber... I used WES for a US school and I believe they all operate almost same way. My transcript just got verified yesterday after a month since it got to them and 3 months overall since I started the application process.

I am heading to humber too January 2015.I did not use WES for anything...

Can you please assist me with the component tests that make up this medical test ?
I consider it good to do a pre-test before the actual test at the designated clinics.

this are the test required
1.HIV 2. Syphillis 3.Hepatitis A,B,C 4.Chest X ray 5. Urine test(Urine analysis) 6. They would test u if u are into drug abuse. Finally they would perform a physical examination on u and they would ask u several questions too...Costs for medicals is 28k.I hope this can help.

yes u must summit it because u need the letter for the processing of ur trv....

Hello nairalanders, am new here but I follow the thread always. Now I need u guys help. I applied to Algonquin College for 2 years PGD course (becos of low cgpa 2:2). But my fear is that someone told me that I am unlikely to get Trv becos am applying for PGD.... Is that true?

Did my medicals at childrens practice and I didnt have to book an appointment.. i just walked in and out within 1.5Hr.. Did it last week thursday and on my CIC account, it changed to pass yesterday so it takes about 4 working days to have to submit your results.. I think theyre very efficient and have good reception too. Nice looking girl that attends to people politely and even on phone... Screw ASAJU..

yes the girl at childs practice is lovely,we where even gisting befor I went it for my medicals,I even called her on phone to ask if my results have been sent and she gave me a polite answer.what school are u heading to?

Online route still gives you the opportunity to write a letter of intent to explain yourself as much as you can.

ok,well I got my Trv in exactly 3 months....and I used Paper route...

From todays experience, there are 3diff consulting clinic where the medical test can be done.
1. Qlife
2. Children Practice
3. Asaju Clinic.

The report I've heard about the 3rd on this forum is below par and it was like the owner dey JAZZkoted cos people seems to preferred the clinic.

The young lady we met at the reception was saucy (she seems to be a deeperlifer, I am too), I heard her telling me twice that she was done with me while I was still pleading, obviously we didn't book ahead, it was after a guy gave me Qlife's number and spoke with the receptionist where I got to know that their medical is even cheaper that she turned her attention to me. To me, its not so proper cos it was not written on the med letter to book appointment ahead, should it, I would have!

And on the medical examination, , I was not with the dude but the first lady came out frowning while the 2nd guy came out smilling on the turn of my bro, he came out and was like , the next thing he said was thank God I wasn't told to remove my panties.

childrens practice to me is the best place to get ur medicals done,all the staffs there are nice and friendly,and they will always tell u what to do.Lovely place

I don't know of online route,but paper route gives u the opportunity to explain urself more to the vo.But above All with God all things are possible.Just pray and hold ur peace let God act for u...

Err, jst asking out of the blues, based on experience, how long does it take dem (Asaju for example) to upload medicals to CIC? How long does it take CIC to respond that they have received the medical info? How long after dey indicate that they have received the info b4 dey get back to you again (lol )?

After ur medicals it takes 2 to 3 weeks for u to Get ur TRV....
