If you are interested in beat production, I believe you must have already gotten a laptop or a desktop. If not go get one.

Secondly, I said we'll need atleast a DAW.
WHAT IS DAW.
DAW means digital audio workstation eg of most common DAW used by top producers in Nigeria include FL studio, Propellerhead reason, Cubase, LOGIC pro, Studio one, Mixcraft, ableton, reaper, pro tool just to mention few.

For the sake of this tutorial, we will be making use of FL studio and cubase.
Mind you, all the DAW are as good as the others but it depends on the one you are most comfortable with.
Some producers in Nigeria eg master craft, Young john etc uses FL
While speroach beats logic pro krizbeats reason .
It doesn't matter what DAW you use, just do your thing.
