This is why I keep advising people, anytime you see a group of Nigerian Policemen on the road or anywhere with guns, do as much as you can to leave that place immediately. Nigerian police are like wild animals, you can never predict their next move.

This is really sad. I remember when we caught a well known criminal in our community who vandalized our transformer in Akwa ibom. He was handed over to the police. There was a wild jubilation all over the community that he was sentenced to 15 years imprisonment. I was very shocked when I saw him in Port Harcourt few months ago, I told some people in our community, no body believed me.

Over speeding is one of the major causes of fatal road accidents in Nigeria. There should be a law, anyone who killed someone in a road accident as a result of his/her recklessness or carelessness should be seen as manslaughter.

If found guilty they deserve nothing but 80 years imprisonment.

Forget about the media hype, yes Akwa ibom has good roads, but there is severe poverty here and a very high rate of unemployment that the media will never tell you.
