because they have seen people with better profiles who came and filled asylum or never went back. There are people who have houses in lekki but filed asylum in USA. These things are also at the discretion of the visa officer, another visa officer may have granted it

It’s probably possible, the big issue I think is there a huge difference between possible and practicable/obtainable in Nigeria.
Imagine you were stopped by Nigerian police for no justifiable reason and you tendered a Canadian drivers license. In their head “market dun come”, so expect to pay significantly higher than their going “show your brothers love” rate.
Alternatively you may consider getting an international drivers licence from FRSC (#20-30k) If stopped you can claim it’s for temporary use as you couldn’t get a date for capture & of course grease their palms and you’re all smiling.
OR like most people do, have a trusted relative/friend drive you around and pay them weekly or after your stay.
As sad & pathetic as it sounds you’re better off keeping your dual citizenship undisclosed to Nigerian police IMO.
