Two middle aged men alleged to have been engaged in the act of sodomy with some male teenagers were almost killed, but for the timely intervention of the Police in Narayi area of Kaduna metropolis. According to eye witness accounts, one of the suspects who were accused of having carnal knowledge of some of the children, popularly called Coach Tracy in the neighbourhood, approaches the teenagers under the guise of establishing a local football academy to perpetrate the act until he was nabbed last week when his neighbours discovered he was sleeping with the boys he was coaching. Eyewitnesses further accused the two men of intimidating the boys before sleeping with them inside their room, as one of the boys, who was close to falling victim to the coach’s sexual acts, narrated what he experienced in his house. Some Residents told Channels Television, that the situation which led the residents to drag them out and started beating them was because they deceived everyone, including the teenagers to make them think they are football coaches, and that they actually have abused some of the teenagers. The residents were unperturbed by the arrival of the police as they continued with their unleashing, it was at that point that the police had to release a few shots in the air, to disperse the mob after trying to drag out the suspects to no avail before taking them to the station. Journalists were however prevented from interviewing the gay suspects at the police station. |
I'm not seeing d ibos thinking of war again. We lost many people in dat so i don't c dat happening. As for al-mustapha, i won't b surprise to see him as a presidential candidate in 2015 afterall Josephs ruling Nigeria is not new |
Abuja Bureau Chief COORDINATOR of North- ern Emancipation Network, Mal. Abdul-Azeez Suleiman, yesterday, advised the North to forget presidency in 2015. Suleiman who spoke with newsmen in Abuja, said that the Northern political elite had deceived ordinary Northerners for too long for their selfish benefits and that the game has changed. He noted that the North has held the office of the President longer than any other region since independence, but that ironically it remained the most backward because the Northerners who held the nation’s highest office, worked only for their allies and their children, leaving the bulk of the Northern populace in abject poverty and under-development. His words: “What we have today is a conscious North versus the Northern political elite. Before now, wherever the elite decided to go, the crowd followed them. But now, it is no longer the same. People have started thinking that they should not allow the elite to pull them wherever they go. So, you can see even the political game is being played by the elite. “By virtue of my position one as a journalist and coordinator of the Northern Emancipation Network, I really have the opportunity of meeting some of these players to discuss so many things and we agreed and disagreed. So, I am talking to you from the point of view of an insider. An insider who they know is not in their squad (the elite). Those of us in the Northern Emancipation Network and our affiliates do not see the necessity of the north insisting on the presidency in 2015 or any time in the near future. Holding of central power “Our reasons are that if holding central power is the only key in the success of a people then the North ought to have been the most successful region in Nigeria by now! If that yardstick is true the Igbo nation ought to have been the most backward. Because historically the Igbo nation has not in practical terms had power at the centre. It only had Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe who was a ceremonial president and policies were executed by the prime minister then. And the brief stint by Ironsi in a tumultuous situation, he did not have the time to do anything either for himself nor his people. The Igbo nation would have been the most backward now the reverse is the case. The North held power for the most part of Nigeria’s existence as an independent nation yet we are the most backward.” Suleiman said that the five northern governors: Murtala Nyako, Adamawa; Sule Lamido, Jigawa; Babangida Aliyu, Niger; Aliyu Wamakko of Sokoto, and Musa Kwankwaso of Kano, are former President Olusegun Obasanjo “boys” who are acting a script by their godfather. “Their journey in the “New PDP” will not last. They will have to leave Atiku because they have nothing in common. Don’t forget that Obasanjo will not support an Atiku candidacy for the position of president. Ordinary Northerners angry with Al-Mustapha Mal Suleiman said that the chasm between the Northern oligarchy and the political elites on the one and the ordinary people has continued to grow and has now deteriorated to the extent that emirs are now being stoned by the people who once idolized. According to him, even Maj. Hamza Al-Mustapha, former Chief Security Officer to former Head of State, General Sani Abacha who was recently released from prison has lost the sympathy of ordinary Northerners for visiting governors and Emirs. His words, “when this guy came out from prison, he landed from Lagos, the first person he visited was Kwankwaso and then he began visiting Emirs. Some of the people I spoke with are very angry with Al-Mustapha because he had lost touch with realities. The ordinary people are not prepared to take that. “They are even more angry with him for not visiting Buhari. Up till now, he has not visited Buhari and Buhari is their man. Now Al-Mustapha will never receive the kind of cheers he received when he returned from Lagos”. |
mgbeketoto: Na today?let's b watching it like a nollywood movie |
Niger Delta activist, Asari Dokubo, on Politics Today hinted that the former President of Nigeria, Olusegun Obasanjo has been a clog in the wheel of the progress of the Jonathan administration. Dokubo said that Obasanjo has always said that the President of Nigeria, Goodluck Jonathan should not run for the 2015 election, that the former president backed the idea of a Northern politician be put in place as the flag bearer of the PDP come 2015, while the Rivers state governor, Chibuike Amaechi, who is now in the Baraje-led PDP faction be his running mate. He said that Obasanjo has always been behind the recommendation of the Rivers state governor, Chibuike Amaechi for a higher office. He explained further that, severally, Obasanjo has said this on pages of newspaper and on television that Jonathan should not run for the 2015 election. The issues of not backing the President’s 2015 ambition arose when he was asked to react to the statement made by the former President of Nigerian and former BoT Chairman of the ruling party, last week when Obasanjo lamented on the non-progress in the resolution of the crisis, that may mar the chance of the party ahead of the 2015 elections, after a meeting with the leaders of the PDP factions, warning that everyone should tread carefully else the party would disintegrate. On the crisis rocking the Rivers PDP, Dokubo took a swipe at the Governor of the state, labelling him a traitor and saying further that ‘a traitor will be treated as a traitor’ as he refuted the claim by the governor, that his life is in danger, saying that no one is stalking the governor, rather the move is just a ploy by the Rivers state governor to rally support for himself, as he has lost the love and favour he used to have in Rivers state, with the people he governs turning against him. He stated further that the Rivers state governor was forced on Rivers state indigenes, because he didn’t win the mandate of the people, rather a court put him in place of the rightful candidate that the people of Rivers state voted to be in office. He explained the reason why he left the former Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) now the All Progressives Congress (APC) citing authorities in Lagos as he reason, because they wanted to lord over Rivers state chapter of the party, by wanting they call shots in the party on who to contest for what, he stated that he sees that as an insult to his person and the people of Rivers state. He denied he left the because he didn’t get what he wanted as a card-carrying member of the party, when he was asked by the host, Seun Okinbaloye, if that was the reason why he left, he responded, saying he got what he wanted, as his wife represented his constituency for the State House of Representatives election under the flagship of the ACN. He confirmed however, that his love right now is for the ruling Peoples’ Democratic Party, even though he does not have any intention of running for any position under the party right now, but he is ready to back ‘His Own’ referring to the President of Nigeria, Goodluck Jonathan, warning that the president will run for 2015, as he declared that it is ‘no retreat, no surrender’ and it is a ‘do or die’ affair come 2015. |
Cpu2: does t mean dat admission list z nt out.pls admission list is not out. Don't mind my grammatical error |
loverboi: We don't need to decieve ourselves, Obansanjo and the likes of atiku are the founder of PDP, and politically in Nigeria, obasanjo is the only person that has better and large number of loyalist across the country, all the geo-political zones, so clearly, he can do and undo. With all due respect for ur opinion, obj was never a founding member of pdp. Beside he was in prison wen Ekwueme, Anenih and d rest formed d party. |

Obj, Tukur, Anenih. Those guys knws exactly what is wrong with Pdp. Pdp has been having internal issues but they made it a public issue dis. The leadership of PDDP have been incompetent of carrying out her functions. This pdp1 vd pdp2 problem started earlier dis yr in Rivers state and they did nothing about it. It also happened in Anambra about 3 wks ago, it was swept unda d carpet. Making it a national issue nw shows dat it have been a major plan of Atiku's pdp. Calling Obj leader of dis prodigious pdp is quite funny. He has headed dis party as d chairman BOT and it is his primary objective to make sure dat d self acclaimed largest party in Africa is upto a reputable standard. If he is part of dis eye sore of a plan den he is d worst human being on earth cos only insane people destroy wat they build. My only worry about dis pdp breakup is dat it will give a chance to Apc who i'm still confuse about their political policy considering d type of personnels in d party... |

Let me make something clear here, ur scores in d post utme does not always guarantee u admission in d department u want. U should always consider d population of students dat wrote for each department and d actual number d department wants. Let me give u an example, u don't expect to b given admission in BAM cos u knew of someone who have d same score with u dat was given admission in PS or OTM or QS. Note dat even if u're not given d department of ur choice, always check ur names in d transfer list. Eduwalter: please nekede don't offer petrolchemical.
