I think the Igbos should use this opportunity to align with north on this protest that is on ground. This is not the best time to be neutral. They should take side with the north. This is the time to prove to them, that they are not enemies. I don't know much about politics just that overthinking they worry me.

With this rejection of evil of Tinubu's regime, the Nigerian masses has strongly rejected every Tinubu's APC manifesto and leadership. Nigerians no longer believe in this administration's much touted capability to solving Nigeria problem.
Mass hunger, Insecurity, Corruption, State capture and many negative events has dominated the news since the emergence of this administration.
The people are fed up and want an end to all manifestation of bad governance and in effect, the end of Tinubu's infamous presidency.

I saw the 7 agenda by the north and my first thought is, president Tinubu must not take anything at face value, this could just be a front to make him think that they just want him to do a few things and everything will be fine, while they are pulling granddaddy of all strings behind the scenes for a total destruction of his administration. Yes, many of them voted for him but they also expected to be at the center stage of his administration and call the shots, as people who had always have monopoly of power in Nigeria, they see the power they wield now as not enough. President Tinubu must be ready for everything, including war and division of the country. What I think the north and east fear most is what some people call restructuring Yoruba style. That is why they did endsars to stop him, then laid landmines, looted the treasury and then sabotage food supplies.

A high court in Ghana has barred groups from holding protests in the capital Accra as youth-led demonstrations in other African countries become commonplace.

The 7-day protest dubbed ‘The Gen-Z demo’ is billed for July 31 to August 6 at the Black Star Square.

Protest organisers said two million people would march to demand more action from President Nana Akufo-Addo on corruption and living conditions. They will also rail against delays in signing an anti-LGBTQ bill into law.

Court documents seen by ModernGhana News said the police have warned that the planned demonstration could compromise public order.

In a ruling on Tuesday, Abena Serwaa, high court judge, approved police request to ban a handful of organisations from carrying out protests.

The planned protests come amid election campaigns in Ghana.

They also arrive on the heels of a wave of demonstrations across Africa in recent weeks.

In Kenya, young people engaged in six weeks of demonstrations over an unpopular bill that sought to raise taxes.

The protests, which soon turned violent, saw at least 50 killed and dozens abducted.

President William Ruto retracted the bill and announced a shake-up of his cabinet following pressure from demonstrators who remained on the streets despite appeals.

Last week, Ugandan youths took to the streets to protest alleged corruption, while demanding the resignation of the speaker of parliament.
