A Yoruba boy who was dating an Igbo girl whose name was Njideka asked her to lie to his mum when he takes her home that her name was Bisi. He told her his mum had a phobia for non- Yoruba people and would never accept her once she knows she is an Igbo girl. She did as he instructed on sighting the boyfriend??s mum. "What is your name?" asked her prospective mother-in-law, She replied, "Bisi", but not without her characteristic thick Igbo accent. The boy??s tribalistic mum was so happy that her son was getting married to a Yoruba girl ignoring the Igbo tone and she said: "What a lovely name, your boyfriend??s elder brother too is Adebisi, his Dad is Olabisi and my best friend??s name is Omobisi, which of the Bisi is yours?" Njideka who had not made any plans for what she would say if such a question came up got so confused and replied "I am Ndubisi!" The woman fainted! GudAM 2 u all 1 Like |

I became depress nd sad dat year coz most of my friends nd junior don get admission even does I do teach during jamb coaching...... I feel like taking poison but all thanks to my MUMMY she just dey encourage me. So dat year I wrote another waec nd all thanks to YAWEH I got d chemistry so I was like should I go 4 medicine or engineering but I notice dat my love for maths is not dat strong unlike before so I decide to go for medicine. Choosing or getting jamb wasn't my problem but d school to go, den I tot of uniben but I don't like d school due to if u don't pass very well nd u don't no sum personal person bla bla bla, nd unab don't ve medicine., UNN dat 1 too far nd I hate OAU pass shit coz of d hard post utme so I was like I go go unab jare but d story change wen a friend of mine nd my uncle encouraged me dat I can beat OAU hands down. After contemplating on it I choose OAU nd read as if I dey hell after seeing my JAMB it wasn't encouraging so I quickly change to PHARMACY. I was so glad wen I was admitted it still seems like a dream coz I didn't believe I could enter OAU *crying * singing praises cum join me pals I rep OAU PHARMACY as men of honours 1 Like |

Guguru morning to y'all.......... Hmmmmmmmm well d journey is not a smooth nd pleasant one Well as a kid in primary school all I dreamt of becoming is either a military man or a doc. But on getting to high school J S 3 to b precise most of d seniors den, always tell us dat science class is very very difficult a class to go nd all those bla bla shits, but on getting to senior school I summon courage not to heed to those scary talks. I sha go science class nd during SS class, wen discussing ambition among ourselves my friends will b like if u want to become a u will read like kilode nd dat der textbooks re very expensive like dragon's nail, nd I was like Hmmmmmmmm. So I become cynical nd sceptical on becoming a doc, that I change sum of my subject like agric Sci. to tech drw coz I've changed my mind to go for mech eng. And after my waec in 2010 d result was not impressive so I sat for gce dat same year, it was okay but I got no chemistry so I have to sit for anoda exam d following year but still chemistry no cum..................... And my dream to go for an engineering course was jettisoned so I opt for GRP nd choose University of Ibadan but I didn't do well coz I don't even like d course, so I waited for another year but dat year(2013) jamb did me strong tin......... To b continued |
