19 states in the North
5 states in the East

I think its only a mentally ill person that should expect things to be shared in the same percentage especially when those from the 5 states have made themselves an enemy of the North and their fellow southerners....

The north will always have the higher share.

Lets not even talk about what this 5states are
bringing to the national treasury....

Or should we talk about the fact that these 5states are less than some northern states in Land mass and that each northern state can still be broken into 3 additional state each?

You may argue that its not about landmass.

But you know the reality

The North has a higher percentage in the total number of states. If I was dealing with the Yorubas or, Ijaw who are actually known for having a higher IQ I would have expected these comments to tell us how the North with 19 states who actually contribute more to the National treasury and also feed most of the country is expected to get exactly what the SE with 5states get, but you are the set of people who dont even know their 123 which is why you a call everyone with a few thousands and a car a billionaire.
Even if we say we give 1 per state the SE wants to get 19 ministers because the North will get 19 ministers at 1minister per state.
I think its regional mental problem

This is yet another thing I forgot to mention...
This your foul mouth is the reason why even when you are qualified for a position you dont get it, but it think its insulting people upandan, bragging and making noise is a part of the Igbo cultural heritage anyways....

Anyone with a brain as small as that of a rat would know that when he has problems with everyone around him, from the south, to the north to the west, he most definitely is the major problem.....
Nobody hates the igbos, people just hate this your character
The north contributes zero to the nations revenue. They get grants from FG to farm. Then they sell the farm produce. The grants comes from Niger Delta oil. Niger Delta feeds the north

As a Deltan, you must have facts to enable you discuss certain issues that affect the common interest of the state. Insecurity for example is of common interest to every Deltan, whether you are Isoko, Urhobo, Itsekiri, Ukwuani, Anioma, etc. Every part of the state face the same challenge.

Take your time to read through my request for clarity from him.

Leadership successes, failures and challenges, including infrastructures could be discussed after taking away the contending issues of hatred tribalism.

When Ibori was the Governor, everyone queued behind him, irrespective of tribe or local government. He was the leader of all. As an Urhobo man, he was and is still loved by all in Delta state.

I only took exception to his choice of the word “hatred” and wanted him to offer some clarifications. At least that would help everyone better understand the state, contending matters and how to deal with them, for peaceful co-habitation.

This forum should be a place where people can discuss decently, with the desire for better information and improvement of self and society.

I am still waiting for him to respond to my request.

Thank you for your input.
That doesn't change the fact that Ibori developed his Ethiope Area of Oghara and neighboring communities and abandoned the STATE CAPITAL. you guys abuse this STATE CAPITAL a lot. Regardless of how you look at it, capital is still capital

Ruke1989:
Your hatred for agege and the urhobos make you think APC is an urhobo party. Can you compare infrastructures that urhobo APC senator, agege and urhobo APC house of rep member, waive has influenced to the state by leveraging the power of the national assembly. Okowa, Ned, ossai, nwaboshi and all delta north representatives were unable to influence any substantial federal govt project to delta north since 1999. But waive of yesterday, has successfully influenced a federal medical centre signed into law by tinubu. It started as a bill he introduced in the house of rep. Agege influenced federal polytechnic to orogun. It started as a bill. Now agege even influenced a federal university of medical science to delta north which is not his constituency but in fulfilment of his campaign promise to the agege-supporting ndokwa people. Yet you all hate the urhobos bitterly. Agege influenced law school, Nigeria army space school, leather and metallurgical institute, federal polytechnic, power Stepdown to orogun amidst other silent project while a senator.

So for your hatred of agege, hatred of urhobos, you prefer ned nwoko remain in PDP without power to influence any federal project to delta north. Yet you will spill hate against urhobos in the future for developing urhobo communities and blame them for non development of delta north. You guys need to look inwards. Extend hands of fellowship to the urhobos and charge your senators, representatives, ministers at the federal level to think home. You had CBN governor, Defense minister and governor plus senator and house of reps representative all at the federal and state level for 8 years who brought nothing home. Okowa self did nothing in ndokwa and urhobo land and as well in delta south Though did small in asaba and owa alero despite the big allocations. In 8 years, what sheriff will accomplish in warri and okpe land where he comes from will make you guys ashamed of okowa. You don't need to hate urhobos or the APC but you need to look inwards. The APC and urhobos are not reason for delta north underdevelopment. Even festus keyamo, an exile urhobo man that was born in Lagos by a Yoruba woman and lived all his life in lagos could still remember to bring federal aviation school to osubi, urhobo land now as a minister. I dey shame for the delta Igbo politicians, ijawvand itsekiri politicians sincerely. Campaigning based on tribalism and hatred for urhobos but unable to do anything for their own people when given the same opportunities. Uduagan too was a curse to the itsekiri
Did that man mention Urhobo hatred in his comment? APC is evil. Urhobo people bringing this evil into Delta state is our problem. APC should be rejected by every well thinking Nigerians from Councillorship to Presidency. They're the party that likes to present the worst candidates

Now AI has come. Even foreign universities don't know how to handle that because ai detectors don't actually work - too many false positives and false negatives.

I have seen and interviewed radical Christians so is radical muslim, it was then I knew that, those radicals have ideology that have deviated from the original stem of their religions probably due to hatred or fear of being dominated and eliminated by the other.
Live and let live? Do muslims believe in that? If you're not a muslims, keep playing ostrich. I'm not a religious studys major but I understand religions and politics. All religions are political tools but Islam is an extremist political ideology. And I'm not a Christian. All Nigerians should put hands on deck to fight Islam. I'm an atheist and I understand that all religions are destructive and our greatest problem as humans. While Christianity is subtly brainwashing the masses, Islam is radicalising them. The quest for domination makes Islam not just a religion but a Political ideology that doesn't serve any purpose to African society

The stages of acceptance are a series of emotions that people experience when dealing with loss or change. These stages include denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance.

America will always lose in this trade war. China is way ahead of them. Colonialism and pure intellectuality are battling here. America became powerful by becoming the leader of the evil allies who already have colonial control over the world. But the emerging powers are coming with trade and innovation and not making decisions on lobbying and inflating budgets - they'll always deliver. They don't have a set of greedy and selfish deepstate running things behind the scene

He probably killed some discretely. He's not a good person. He's drawn to the dark side. I think the right thing he should do to akpi is to sue him. But using police is also the next best option.

The North and West are using VAT to try to downplay Niger Deltas contribution to the Economy. Niger Delta is single handedly feeding this country. They liquid and solid minerals in Niger Delta is owned by Yoruba, Hausas and Nigeria while the Solid minerals in the north are owned by Northerners. Not even Nigeria. Amd Tinubu comes in and starts defunding agencies established to cater to the needs of the Niger Delta. But they've effectively bribed the stomach infrastructure militants like Tom Polos and Asari Dokubos.

Okoro, those are different metrics - don't use okoro trader sense to dilute the conversation and divert attention. Nobody is playing down the undebatable and crystal clear oil revenue. This is all about VAT, totally different. South-South contributed very well and they are not complaining. South South in 2nd place only got back 50.3% of their VAT contribution.

Oil and gas are a critical part of Nigeria's economy, accounting for about 40% of the country's GDP. This means that 40% of the total value of all goods and services produced in Nigeria comes from the oil and gas sector. In other words, nearly half of Nigeria's economic output is generated by this industry. Again, this is common knowledge.
I'm from the Niger delta and it's visible to everyone that has a brain that Yoruba media is up to something. Tinubu has proven to be an enemy of the Niger Delta. Since he reduced revenue for NDDC and created NDDC equivalent in every region, then went ahead to disband the ministry of Niger Delta, it's obvious. Niger Delta feeds this country
Politics › Re: Why VAT And Taxes Don’t Define Development! by ehikwe22: 3:41pm On Jan 27, 2025
They just want to ridicule the Niger Delta that's feeding Nigeria. How many percent of our budget is being covered by VAT? Every year, our budget is benchmarked on oil prices. Immediately after budget presentation, they'll continue with their propaganda to make it seem like VAT is our major source of revenue
Politics › Re: Oyo Which Some People Call 'Brown Roof' Has Been Their Benevolent - Omokri by ehikwe22: 2:59pm On Jan 27, 2025
Yoruba and Hausa people are now using propaganda to play down on the importance of Niger Delta oil. Niger Delta is feeding everyone including Lagos. If you doubt this, institute true federalism where every state control their resources and VAT.

This issue of VAT is being pushed to play down on the importance of oil which constitutes over 70% of Budget revenue and 95% of exchange revenues
