Tokyo has been chosen by the International Olympic Committee to host the 2020 Summer Games.

During its vote Saturday in Buenos Aires, the committee made its choice over the two other contenders, Madrid and Istanbul.

(CNN) -- Tokyo and Istanbul have advanced to a final runoff vote to be the site of the 2020 Olympic Games.

Saturday's International Olympic Committee vote in Buenos Aires eliminated Madrid -- but only after a tiebreaker vote. Tokyo finished first in the day's first round of voting, but Madrid and Istanbul received the same number of votes in second place. The committee then voted again to place Istanbul in the final runoff with Tokyo.

The results of the final vote were sealed and were expected to be announced during a ceremony from 5 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. (4 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. ET).

Each of the cities has strengths and potential weaknesses, said Ed Hula, editor and founder of aroundtherings.com, which covers the business and politics of the Olympic movement.

"Istanbul is the one bid that offers something unique and different," Hula told CNN in a telephone interview from Buenos Aires.

If Turkey were to win, it would be the first Muslim country to host the Games and, with a median age of less than 30 years, one of the youngest.

It wasn't an oarfish, as many believed, but a shark, three leading shark experts conclude; 'definitely a shark skeleton,' says one

The mystery of the horned sea monster that washed ashore in Spain and caused widespread speculation as to its identity has been solved, and it isn’t what you might have thought.

Oarfish was a popular guess among those trying to figure out the identity of the strange sea creature that washed ashore at Luis Siret Beach in Villaricos, Spain, last week.

But as it turns out, the largely decomposed, 13-foot carcass was determined to be that of a shark, three leading shark experts concluded.

“That is definitely a shark skeleton,” Florida State University ichthyologist Dean Grubbs told NBC News. “The elements toward the back were confusing me, but those are the lower caudal fin supports. The ‘horns’ are the scapulocoracoids, which support the pectoral fins.”

Grubbs is an expert on the biology of fish species, particularly sharks.

David Shiffman, a marine biologist studying shark conservation in Miami, thought it could be an oarfish.

“It’s hard to tell, but the official guess that it could be a thresher shark seems plausible,” Shiffman told NBC News.

What was Shiffman’s best guess?

“I freely defer to Dean Grubb’s expertise in any question related to fish morphology,” Shiffman told GrindTV Outdoor, lending more credibility to Grubbs and his claim.

Dr. Chris Lowe of the Cal State Long Beach Sharklab concurs with Grubbs’ assessment, telling GrindTV Outdoor in an email, “I tend to agree with Dean on this one. The lower elements do look like elasmobranch [shark] vertebrae. Probably some type of shark.”

What species of shark, Lowe would not speculate.

George Burgess, director of the Florida Program for Shark Research, agreed with Grubbs, too, telling GrindTV Outdoor in an email, “It’s a shark skeleton, species unknown without better study.”

When photos of the odd-looking creature first surfaced, many humorously suggested it was a link to the Loch Ness Monster, or it was a sea dragon, water dinosaur, or some sort of mutant fish.

It was a shark. End of story.

diehard: @Ehimax, A lot of company/institutions have come up with different certificate they offer in HSE, very few are credible. And even fewer offer any meaningful recognisable certification. Alway verify the type of certificate a company offer before paying. If i may advice, NISP certificates is a good place to start. If you can afford it, then go for NEBOSH or IOSH certificate which is recognise by most reputable company. The company you quoted in ur post have very shallow course content. There is much more a beginner should know more than they advertise. Just that the price is cheap.

I graduated as a microbiologist and currently serving in ogun state wit the batch B 2013 that just left camp, while in camp many institute came to talk on PMP and HSE. I can remember one particular one called pro-grade www.pro-grade.org they are offering the courses @ a very low cost for corp members, my question is that do any1 knw abt pro-grade and hw reputable is their cert? Plz I need to knw ASAP cos I intend to pay very soon for HSE. And its a distant learning program dey send U the materials U study on ur own and go for th exams, is it advisable to take such program? A friend of mine just introduced free onlin OSHA HSE training U only pay $15 for the shippment of ur cert will such cert be of help in d HSE profession? Tanks in advance for ur response
