tinsel: OP what you people are doing using internet is actually a disgrace to Igbo race. Everything cannot be narrowed to ethnicity. Biko, ona emezi anyi ifele. Nwanna, it is not a matter of ethnicity. I Dont condone evil. But the way this Evans of a thing is being handled by the media and d govt is just unfair. What he has done is no doubt a grave offence of which he duly deserved to be punished. But what of Kabiru Sokoto? doesn't he deserved to be punished too. Let the yardstick of measuring punishment be applied to all no matter the ethno religious or cabal one is affiliated with |

With the release of the last batch Chibock girls last month, it was being rumoured that Kabiru must have been part of the deal to exchange certain Boko Haram in captivity for some of the Chibock girls....
It is likely he is no longer in captivity I can tell u, he is no longer in captivity |

Are you aware that the US federal government can not call for a referendum? republic of China can not either. likewise Nigeria, not every nation has the power to call for a referendum you dvmb fvck!! You drop out of school to learn plumbing now, you are disturbing the whole country with your illiteracy. Stop mentioning Ibos in your dvnb propositions use IPOB, you guys are a disgrace to Igbos. See this one, e dey pain u? Na by force? Anyway, I Dont have time for shallow brain kids. Y Dont u come up with constructive reasons Y Nigeria cannot call for a referendum instead of raining insults and abuses. |

hollah123: the igbos are not agitating for war but your director NK publicly declared that u need weapons, for what? u keep insulting every body without thinking of the implications it will have on your new nation. just believe me if biafra goes today some igbos will still b in Nigeria Pls take a closer look at my statement. Nobody has a monopoly of violence. One must protect himself against any form of unforseen adversity. As for the Igbos who wishes to stay, that is why we are clamouring for referendum so that everybody can forge his own path. I still repeat, all that the IBOs want is A Peaceful And Democratic Referendum |
Politics › Re: The American Civil War Of 1861: Lessons For The Igbos- Frank Eze by ekesimo(m): 7:42am On Jun 16, 2017 |
point of correction. The Ibos are not agitating for war, only Nigerians(North). All they ask is for a democratic and peaceful referendum. That is all. No single IBO man will raise arms against another, but let it be known that nobody has monopoly over violence. They will defend themselves if their corporate existence is threatened. |

I still wonder how we re still sharing the same country with these set of people. Not even one iota of smartness and they are envying the children of the rising sun whom God has blessed. They should just go.back to their backwardness and manage the ones they have looted and stored. Even we didn't get it economically in our first stand, we will.surely bounce back and get it straigh cos it is our nature. At least, it is not our first time. 50th Biafra anniversary: MASSOB, Security Agents hold processions in Imo Chidiebube Okeoma, Owerri The residents of Owerri, the Imo State capital, were in the early hours of Monday thrown into a surprise, as members of Movement for Actualization of Sovereign State of Biafra and its sister group, Indigenous People of Biafra, and combined security agents staged separate processions ahead of the May 30 “sit at home” order by the pro-Biafra agitators. While security agents comprising the Police, Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps, State Security Services, Army and Airforce processed across major streets in Owerri and other parts of the state, the pro-Biafra activists staged a street protest across the state capital ahead of the May 30, 50th year Biafra anniversary celebration.Singing pro Biafra songs, the secessionist groups shared hand bills which read “2017 Biafra Heroes remembrance day. We remember our fallen heroes from 1966-2017. 3.5 million Biafrans killed in Nigeria Biafra war. Over 200 IPOB members killed from 2015 till date. 30th May 2017, sit at home. Celebrating 50th Biafra anniversary”.Amidst cheers and ovation from residents who came out to watch them, the MASSOB and IPOB members, demonstrated, clutching various Biafra insignias.Surprisingly, they did not clash withsecurity agents who were equally on separate procession . Speaking to our correspondent on the phone, MASSOB leader, Uchenna Madu, said that by the procession, security Agents were helping his organization to make the May 30, celebration a huge success.Madu, said that his group was on the streets to sensitise the people on the need to sit at home tomorrow (today) in honour of Biafra activists who died while fighting for the freedom of the Biafran people. The MASSOB leader accused security agents of orchestrated plans to attack his group and IPOB during the celebrating, saying that “we are not deterred by what the security Agents are doing. They areinstilling fear in our people thereby helping to make the celebration a success. They want to attack us tomorrow, but we are not deterred”. The Police spokesperson in the state, Andrew Enwerem, told our correspondent on the phone, that the demonstration was called “Operation joint show of force” being carried out together by security Agents in the state on the need to go about their lawful dutiesand disregard the directive by the pro Biafra agitators. He called on the people of the stateto go about their normal duties, as there was no cause for the alarm. http://punchng.com/50th-biafra-anniversary-massob-security-agents-hold-processions-in-imo/ |

Politics › Re: Biafran Secessionist Movement Grows Stronger In Nigeria - VOA by ekesimo(m): 12:16pm On May 28, 2017 |
whirlwind7: Typical. Just say something different for once, and surprise us.
Igbos make it in whatever part of the country they migrate to. They are the real definition of hustling spirits that knows no boundary. So, if you're talking about people who couldn't make it in Nigeria, yet hoping to make it in a smaller Biafra, you are actually referring to your lilly livered people who are afraid of standing on their own. People who live in mortal fear of their Fulani superiors and are content to subsist on their master's leftovers.
As for your kind hearted concern over properties belonging to Igbos, well, thank you. Your fears and compassion is duely noted. But I must ask you, why do you bellyache over another mans property, built from his toil and sweat?
When Pa Awo implemented the seizure of their assets and handed them £20 instead, did it prick your conscience? Did you bellyache over such injustice? Yes, they lost a lot, but it didn't put them down. You can't hold a good man down! In the face of all that they lost, they rose from the ashes, just like the fabled phoenix. They rose and rebuilt. Bitterness ought to hold them down, but they didn't let such negative emotion rule their life and limit how they can soar. If they lose all they have invested in outside the SE a second time, it still will not put them down. Life will surely go on.
Finally, your people hardly invest outside your geographical zone as you said. I don't see how that should be a thing of pride. It still affirms their being called lilly livered. For that alone, don't dare make comparisons between these two tribes based on its propensity to take risks, to dare, to call anyone's bluff, to go out of your comfort zone, to explore, to confront and conquer, and to vanquish every limitation.
You can't put a good man down! History has shown that countless times. There is nothing wrong with a man who decides to take his destiny in his own hands. Your people can learn and grow a set of balls and decide to forge their own destiny too. Your abusing another tribe who rebel against the status quo everyone agrees is unfair, yet can't man up to demand for yours isn't just hypocrisy, it is downright treachery. Are you guys born with such cowardly DNA, that the word Biafra makes u pee your pants? Hasn't it occurred to you that this same people you oppose are hoping the Yorubas will rise up and take charge of their own nation? Are you so blinded by fear to realize that the Yoruba nation holds the biggest potential to excel if the major tribes were to go their separate ways?
