Ditto PDP in 3 LGs where APC did not field any candidates as well. That makes it a coronation as we all know that there are diverse political interests and groups in the state
The crisis is not deemed fully resolved if all the contending political platforms are not confident enough to take the field against each other
I suggest the governor be suspended for a further 6 months

You see I always wonder when people come on platforms and say the X people or the Y people are not happy with Z. Then elections come and the X people and the Y people vote for Z.

To me it says either The people commenting are not in touch with the grassroots and it is not the people that are unhappy but the commentators.
I am not from Rivers and I don’t want to interfere or comment on Rivers affairs, my comment is a general one because I hear a lot of comments on Nairaland and other media with people usually Obidients saying “Nigerians are this”, “Nigerians are that”. It brings me back to something I always preach: Educated Nigerians who are the demographic that tend to make these comments, represent only 10% of the population. How many of them are in touch with the other 90%?

You know a lot of Christians were scared of Tinubu Muslim Muslim tickets then thinking that Tinubu would islamize Nigeria and turn it to a Muslim country.

So, most Christians were against the ticket and voted for the only Christian in the race which was Peter Obi.

Today, they've seen that Tinubu doesn't have the agenda to islamize Nigeria and Nigerians.

So, the above factor added massively and helped Obi 6m votes but I tell you that Nigeria and Nigerians know better now.
