Good morning GL. I want us to reason together before taken unaware.
1. No additional funds was approved for NYSC
2. only 1 stream for this batch B
3. The maximum a state camp can take is 2500 PCM which results to 2500 PCM * 37 States.
4. These people might decide to play a dice and drop others till next year.
5. Universities and other institutions only saved their head and prevented protest.
6. NYSC might do the slashing themselves.

They are villages close to town that accommodation is affordable. E.g Kuchigoro. Get accommodation of just 30-50k single room or sefcon 100k and +. And from there to town is just #100-150. So what are u telling me?

That's a lie bro. I grew up in Abuja. Just a single room in Kubwa which looks cheap is between 80 to 15k annually. I know Kuchigoro very well. Transport to lugbe or Airport Road and then Jabi flyover could be 150 but accommodation there is something else.

Please concerning my name arrangement which is different from JAMB and in school. Quickly visit your school student affairs and correct it there if you haven't. The same thing happened to mine but it has been rectified now

INFORMATION ON NYSC 2016 BATCH ‘B’ SERVICE YEAR

The National Youth Service Scheme (NYSC) has today, 5th October 2016, informed the University of its inability to mobilize all graduates of the University for the 2016 Batch ‘B’ service year as a result of tight budgetary allocation of the scheme in 2016. This development affects all Corps Producing Institutions in Nigeria.

Bowen University has been requested to mobilize only three hundred and sixty-seven (367) graduates out of the nine hundred and fifty six (956) graduates eligible for the exercise in 2016. The remaining graduates will be given priority in the next mobilization exercise scheduled for early 2017.

Parents/Guardians as well as graduates are kindly requested to note that Management is already considering the criteria to be used for the mobilization of the allocated number of graduates.

Management wishes to assure you that the criteria that will be adopted will be fair and made known to all stakeholders.

I feel the only thing left for PCMs is prayer. cos its so obvious dat not every one will be mobilized as a result of PCM quota allocated to each school. if u are fortunate u move with B16 Nd if otherwise......... students from private universities should not bother......

My school is a private school with 1300 qualified PCM. Anything to fear please?

COST OF LIVING
Food stuffs especially plantain, Yam, palm oil, garri are very cheap compared to other states. Other commodities are average but not cheap. As a corper, if you are good, you get free foodstuffs like garri and plantain.

BASIC NECESSITIES
WATER... There is abundant water
LIGHT... ADO, ILAWE, IKOLE AND EFON enjoy stable eletricity supply. IKOGOSI, IPOLE, ERIJIYAN has not seen the blink of electricity for over 20 (twenty) months now. Other areas enjoy electricity.

Depends on your PPA
Most schools don't pay. IKOGOSI WARM SPRING pays coppers 7k monthly with free lunch from Monday to Friday. And it's consistent. But only those who studied hotel related course and tourism related courses get posted to the WARM SPRING.

Also currently serving in kano. The state govt is not paying. Basically all state govt ve stopped paying except Akwaibom,enugu,lagos and adamawa which is either the money has been reduced or not evryone is paid.

Ekiti (some PPA pays 5k. Others don't pay at all)

Do not forget that we're all PCMs,we don't know how they treat their corpers,we can only guess,lemme call on LogoDWhiz who is currenly serving in Akwa-ibom to tell you about the state welfares to corper.
You can source info about states from the NYSC threads on corpers serving in the various states you have mentioned.

Do you know how Buhari would have threatened him with his job?

The best he can do now is wait for fund before making Nigeria youths aware since they can protest for Africa. To save Buhari from any protest, the timetable would be delayed until there is fund... Simple logic....
