Health / Re: US Approves First Gene Therapies To Treat Sickle Cell Patients by eldoradoxx: 6:36am On Dec 10, 2023
While Africans are investing so much in going to church and mosques 5 times daily, the Western world is advancing in medicine, technological innovations etc in rescuing mankind from the disease and conditions that Africans spend their whole lives in churches and mosques.
So finally, who is doing the work of God/Allah better, who is showing that he is the better representative of God here on earth?

An average Nigerian whether Christian or Muslim once he goes to Western advanced world pockets his religion into his pocket upon realizing that those societies are doing better without too much religion. Religion inhibits capacity of human mind to think critically

Kudos to the inventors of this life saving drugs

See how they develop. They develop by not leaving their people behind. They develop by giving the children of the indigent members of their communities scholarship for those who have brains or enrol those who cant fit into Western education into either apprenticeship system or skill training. That is how the igbos grow, by helping one another. Our wealthy people in the Niger Delta, South West and North are only interested in investing in themselves alone.

This same people who assume saintly position accusing the igbos are even far worse and more heartless than the people they accuse. Its like majority of these people are ritualists. None sense.

Politics / Re: Gunmen Stole Kogi Gov’ship Election Petitions From Tribunal Secretary – Police by eldoradoxx: 4:20am On Dec 07, 2023
APC rigged the election in Kogi State, stopped INEC from releasing election documents to SDP for their petition and has now arranged the stealing of the petition that SDP managed to file. All these in an attempt at ensuring that no petition is brought against APC that managed to score more than total registered voters in about 5 LGAs including Okehi, Ajakouta, etc.

This is no longer democracy.

Is anyone surprised? I doubt.
If it was Obi that was engaging in such a spending spree while the masses languish in poverty, i would have been surprised.
Politics / Re: Obi: FG Plans To Use 3000 Professors Annual Pay For Vice President's Houses by eldoradoxx: 5:55am On Dec 05, 2023
Obi, the man that tells the bitter truth to government. Nigeria's VP is not homelesss in Abuja. Just directly opposite the Supreme Court of Nigeria is a palatial property where the VP is officially resident for now. But a government that increased fuel prices, worsened the living conditions of average people sees nothing else to do with money but to spend 15 billion on building another edifice for the VP while a lot of people go to bed without food.

sreamsense:
Ipob/Igbos/biafran fabricated story sponsored on vanguard. Is it today fabrications and lies are reported and sponsored on daily papers? Tommorow now if you investigate further, it will end up being debunked. Is it because omokiri has proved beyond reasonable doubt that yorubas brought out Igbos from jungle to civilization in almost every aspect of humanity like education, religion, language development etc.?

Even oba of Benin that said it has forgotten about the issues, but some enbittered igbos kept on sponsoring fake articles in their usual known antics. Why not allow this matter to rest since it is too late to reverse the history to make Benin or Igbos to rule Lagos? So Igbos should let the matter rest because they carry the matter on their heads even more than the oba that said it
A narrow minded ethnic jingoist you are. If you dont drag people who are completely not interested in an issue especially igbos, you will not sound convincing enough to your low lives fellow ethnic champion. Igbos this, igbos that, are igbos now Benins. Has any igbo man ever made claim of founding Lagos. He leave Benins and is attacking igbos as Oba of Benin is an igbo man

Politics / Re: Why PDP's Plateau Governor Will Be Sacked At Supreme Court - Woye1 by eldoradoxx: 5:16am On Nov 28, 2023
SaLongs1:
Shettima was picked for the VP position and did not contest the Presidency himself, which is quite different from Plateau's situation.
It is not about whether he was picked or not, the Supreme Court said in that case a non-member has no business challenging what happened in the primaries of another party. I also recall Supreme Court saying that party nomination is a pre election that must be dealt with at the Federal High Court and not in an election tribibnal

SaLongs1:
You are forgetting that whatever the outcome of the internal affairs of the PDP does have provable harmful effects on the APC candidate.
It does not. Party matter is exclusively for party members says the Supreme Court in PDP's case against Shettima
Politics / Re: Why PDP's Plateau Governor Will Be Sacked At Supreme Court - Woye1 by eldoradoxx: 8:00am On Nov 27, 2023
How party congress matter became an election petition matter is what Supreme Court of Nigeria needs to deconstruct. The facts make up the non holding of congress was not available before general election to make it a pre election matter?. Nigerian judiciary must wake up or something radical will happen. Issues of party congresses are issues of pre election and cannot be ventilated at an election petition tribunal

I argued here repeatedly that restriction on rice etc was doing damage to the economy more than it is saving it but some idiotas that i can remember their names kept saying that it was the best decision ever taken by Buhari to save the economy. What economy are we saving with impoverishing our people and getting the cost of food higher. Before rice was restricted, a 50kg of long grain thai parboiled rice went as low as N12k after paying customs duties while local rice was about 6k or 7k for 50kg. Buhari and his stupid advisers came and imposed restrictions and everybody began chasing the small available local rice and suddenly 50kg of local rice rose to over 50k.

Yahaya Bello is now heading to clip Igala politicians wings so as to build a political empire for himself and his Ebira people as the moderns lords and masters of Kogi State.

As incompetent as Emefiele was a CBN Governor, he paid subsidies on fuel for 8 years with a litre going for as low as #196/8 per liter and naira still exchanged at the black market rate at around 650 to a dollar the day builder of Lagos arrested him.
How much is a litre of fuel today, how much is a dollar to a naira now. Now between the grossly incompetent Emefiele and Tinubu who is better in managing the economy. The answer you get shows you the level of low Nigeria went in the last election. People whom we almost stoned in the last government for mishandling the economy appear as saints compared to the Builder of Lagos tragic handling of the economy in just 6 months. Argue with yourselves

Isreal vowed that Hamas will pay for October 6th attack, so far Hamas has paid with the blood, tears, sweat of their people whom they thought they were advancing their interest in the violent invasion and mass murder of Isrealis. The lesson to be learnt is that violence begets more violence.

Sorry to say that Nigeria seems to be an amalgam of high calibre idiotas. How do u catch a Governor with his filthy hands in the cookie jar using public funds for personal bazzar and all his PA is saying is that they are happy it was uncovered. No single protest,. Jacob Zuma as President of South Africa was caught in similar situation as Sanwo Olu, he was forced to resign, was tried and even jailed. That is in Africa.

PDP, an irresponsible party that consistently failed Abians for 23 years from 1999 till 2023 is crying in Abia State because a Governor has come to do the works they failed to do. When nothing was being done with Abia revenue other than to be looted and shared by politicians, Abia was not being fleeced, now it is being fleeced by awarding of various people oriented contract. Idiotas

Supreme Court will set aside that rubbish judgment the Court of Appeal delivered. How do u talk about membership of a political party in an election petition case. If he was not a member of NNPP, how did INEC manufacture his name and NNPP logo and give to Abba, was he not nominated by that party.

LP seems to be the only opposition party Nigeria now has, PDP is an extension of APC, infact PDP would rather work with APC where their kith and kin in the failed governance of Nigeria since 1999 are than join forces with LP to salvage what is left of a once bouyant nation.

Military camo is not the same as pure military wear. Camo is allowed for civilians, anybody who begins to act like a solider when on camo should not be listened to, he is a criminal.
Crime / Re: Soldiers Harass Man Wearing Camo Shorts, Force Him To Take It Off And Tear It by eldoradoxx: 6:49am On Nov 17, 2023
Ignorance is a common thing amongst men and women in Nigeria's armed services. So far as the person is not attempting to impersonate being a solider, it is ok to wear camo, in civilized places, soliders even warm up to you when u re in their camo. Our soliders are trained with a different mentality.

Meaning that if you involve in partisan politics, being beaten black and blue is legal in Nigeria? Is it a crime to be involved in partisanship against APC.
Until Nigerians begin to see things from a perspective of civilized people, impunity will not end. Let me agree with you that NLC President was involved in politics, but does that give anyone the moral ground to violently assault him and others? Let this strike be a strike against political violence, thuggery and use of state apparatus to attack very peaceful political opponents just because you dont like their politics. That is my take
