There was no bombing of national assets and no threat of burning down the state and country by indegenes or politicians. There was no burning of the Assembly. When the President called them to order, they complied, but when the President mediated in Rivers crisis, he was called different unprintable names.

Lastly, Tinubu’s SoR is to protect Fubara from impeachment. If not for the Size, Fubara would have been impeached overnight in one beer parlour since he has born down the Stare Assembly complex. So Tinubu actually checkmated the Assembly by the SoE which had stopped the planned impeachment. Now, Fubara can come back in 6 months, but if Tinubu has waited for about 48 hours, the kindergarten governor would have been impeached and he will not have the opportunity of coming back in 6 months which Tinubu just granted him.

“The move against Governor Fubara is treasonable because it undermines the authority of the people of Rivers State, who have the right to freely choose their governor,” Okonkwo said in a public statement. “We cannot allow this kind of political maneuvering to become the norm. It is a clear example of a government that is overstepping its bounds and disregarding the principles of democracy.”

The emergency rule was imposed following a period of escalating violence and unrest in Rivers State, with the federal government citing concerns over security and governance instability. However, Okonkwo and many critics argue that this is merely an excuse to stifle political opposition and centralize control, particularly in states where there is significant political opposition to the ruling party.

“The power belongs to the people,” Okonkwo concluded. “We must not allow those in power to erode our democracy. If we allow this to happen, we will be setting the stage for a dictatorship, and that is a road no country should go down.”

The Federal High Court sitting at Lokoja on Thursday, 20th March, 2025, granted an interim injunction restraining the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) from receiving petition for the purpose of initiating a re-call process against Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan as Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.



The competent Court also restricted INEC staff, agents, privies or assigns from accepting or acting on any petition containing fictitious signatures of purported members of Kogi Central Senatorial District and conducting any referendum upon such pending the determination of the Motion on Notice to the same effect.



The court, according to the order paper made available to newsnen Friday morning, granted the application following an Ex-parte application for interim injunction supported by an Affidavit of Extreme urgency together with other court processes sworn to by Anebe Jacob Ogirima for himself and four others who are registered voters and constituents of Kogi Central Senatorial District of Kogi state.



The application was moved by Smart Nwachimere, Esq of West-Idahosa, SAN & Co.



The case has been adjourned to 6th May, 2025 for report of service and further mention.



Reacting to the development, a pressure group, Action Collective, praised the judiciary for granting the order.



The group's coordinator, Dr. Onimisi Ibrahim, said in his reaction that "the order will further expose impunity of some sponsored individuals behind the failed plot to recall Senator Natasha."

What the ruling means is that: Only the Sole Administrator can authorise the Rivers State government to challenge the proclamation in court. Any other person is meddlesome interloper unknown to law...So says the supreme court!

So stylishly yesterday, I was just freestyling at home and the thoughts of State of Emergency in Rivers state came from only God knows. That was around 4:30pm

Around 6:20pm, I saw a thread about president Tinubu addressing Nigerians by 7pm.

And voila, state of Emergency was declared in Rivers state.

For clarification, I am not saying it's my opinion that made the FG to declared the SOE in Rivers state and at the same time , I have no affiliation with the government, any politicians or any political party currently in Nigeria.

The timing, the coincidence and how the odds have been becoming more odd with analysis.

Also, this is not a self praising thread, but I believe when you are connected to the universe with the 3rd eye opening, things become more clearer even when others dont have a clue.

And there’s no law that stops the president from suspending a Governor. The president has the sole discretion to suspend or otherwise under state of emergency. As for Falz and the nonsense he wrote up there, two pipeline bombings are already acts of economic ‘war’.
