PDP deputy governorship candidate, Funke Akindele deletes campaign posts from Instagram page The deputy governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in Lagos State, Funke Akindele, has deleted all posts relating to politics and the PDP from her Instagram page. Funke who was defeated at her own polling unit in Ikorodu left only personal and movie promotion posts on her Instagram of 15.7 million followers. It is unclear if Funke will be back to the movie industry following her defeat as she had earlier announced that she was signing off the movie industry to pave the way for younger talents. Funke and her principal, Abdul-Azeez Adediran aka Jandor, were defeated by the incumbent governor and All Progressives Congress candidate, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, in Saturday’s election.
