Mine was in 2011 and his happened just last week. Common sense should tell you that no Yahoo boy will come online and rant.
Marotzke: How come you and your cousin were apprehended by different sets of policemen at different times for the same crime? Is there something you are not telling us? Even this your rantings sef, resemble yahoo boy rant.

Just some of my Tweets regarding an experience with the Nigeria police force in Lagos, harassing innocent citizens in the name that they're Yahoo boys.

Get your original WAEC result
The grades are written in numbers
So you must score a total of 15 in 5 subjects

taiwoliu: went thru METU's site nd under the accepted exams fr Nigeria, I saw ' a total of 15 in 5 subjects wt 3 related to ur choice course'.... I dnt really understand its meaning.

Exactly
This is another email they sent to me.

For the coming year applications which is 2014-2015, exact dates are not clear yet. When it is clear, we will announce it on our web page.

Please follow http://oidb.metu.edu.tr/en/application-international-students-undergraduate-programs for detailed information about application&admission to undergraduate programs.

suxes2005: METU won't open applciation for new students not until later this year
So I read earlier on their site .

Anyone with a contrary information?

For the school METU, I had to email them and they sent me a link of everything I need to know.
http://www.metu.edu.tr/admissions

You will find out all the necessary information concerning admissions, even when you can apply, on the link.

Luvly devin: I just went through the site and it was wonderful, it has low tuition fees, and with good standard of education, the process I saw on their website for applying was sat and toefl or ielts, with your waec result my question now is apart from waec result and sat and toefl which other necessary documents do you need to submit with your application, and when would they start admitting students

EntertainmentThe "I'm First To Comment" People by elleven45(op): 2:15pm On Jan 07, 2014
Whenever I'm bored and really need to be schooled on the latest happenings,
I'm always directed to sites like :
Nairaland, Bellanaija, Lindaikeji, or even Stella Dimokoko.
Opening the front page
(where everyone on Nairaland wants their topics to be on) i scroll until I espy a topic of my interest, then 'click', after reading the OP's article, BAMM!!!! The first comment on each post will doubtlessly make one droll
"I'm first to comment"
I can snugly tell everyone on here that
the "I'm first to comment" remarks has been on for a long time. Both on international blogs, like Parizhilton blog, even crackberry.com.
People fight over there just to be the
first to comment.
If you see any "I'm first to comment" on Nairaland, there is always a long epistle on it, even thanking their dogs or MTN
for helping them to be first to comment, sometimes there is always negative comments below it.
Being the first to comment has never been a crime, I mean it's supposed to be
a joyful situation. Because that's the
only way one can express themselves
for being the first to comment,
by writing "I'm first to comment".
Sadly no award is given to them for their exertion and steadfastness to be the first.
But on other sites like Bellanaija,
the level of Maturity on there, states the obvious reasons why you
can't see any "I'm first to comment"
My point is, either the "I'm first to comment" people are juveniles or people
just do it for fun, whichever reason,
I enjoy seeing the "I'm first to comment"

CelebritiesFriends Fight Over Linda Ikeji And Stella Dimokoko On "Who's The Best Blogger" by elleven45(op): 9:08am On Dec 31, 2013
I was at a bar just to have my little merry, all of a sudden I saw people moving to a particular direction, I categorically did not want to join the cluster, well, my friends decided to go check what's happening.

Lo and behold they came back, told me some guys were having an argument that preceded to a fight.
They were arguing who's the best "Blogger" Linda Ikeji or Stella Dimokoko.
There was a recent "open letter" to Stella about how Linda is better than her, which stirred a huge arguments online.
This made me to ask, is it worth it? Both bloggers are at their separate homes enjoying the merriment season and some are here fighting over them.
Is it worth it for bloggers that 90% of their posts are "copy and paste"??
Both bloggers (Linda and Stella) copy and edit most of their posts from both international and local online tabloids, with very few posts that are direct source from them, they most times make investigations before posting some stories.
For me I think both bloggers are good in their own antithetic ways. Stella posts some serious stories that Linda can't post because Linda's being meticulous not to bane her relationship with her celebrity friends.
Linda is no doubt the number one blogger in Nigeria and I believe she's richer than stella.

I think it's right time we resolve that brawl here, whom do you think is better from the information you search for on line?

FamilyThe Best Gift To Give My Mom? by elleven45(op): 8:04am On Dec 18, 2013
Since it's the yuletide season and i might be traveling to visit my parents. I definitely want to get a gift for my mother, but right now I'm confused on what to get for her, though I know as a mother anything I get for her she'll appreciate it even if she doesn't like it. But I don't want to make that mistake, so the ladies, mothers and guys on Nairaland,
What's the best gift you've received as a mother or you've given to your mother??

Remind me again I think I forgot,
Are they running to Nigeria to study?
If not, then allow us to go study where we want.
People rush to Ghana to study and last time I checked Turkish schools are far better than that of Ghanians

ovo4u: God forbid, study in turkey...God pls save my people from this hardship call Nigeria....I hope one day Nigeria will be great, but 4 ur info? even turkish people are running out of their country to study. Nigeria we are too desperate.
TravelRe: Ideas To Study In Turkey. by elleven45(op): 6:26pm On Dec 16, 2013
I couldn't have said it better.
It's a very good thing learning another language.

zabyx: 1. Language barrier isn't all that bad.
Turkish is actually a relatively easy language to learn. Also, you can learn another language and experience another culture in the process.

2. Turkish education is much less expensive than one in Britain or Australia or North America. It's much safer and pleasant than crime-ridden South Africa.

3. A diploma from an accredited Turkish institution, unlike a Ghanaian one, is widely accepted in the West, and by extension, in Nigeria.
