Ok,  From my time in a Kuwait,  I'll tell you the hierarchy I noticed,

Top Tier
- Kuwaiti/American (Black or white) on the same level more or less. Due to America's decision to Liberate Kuwait, the Kuwaiti people hold Americans in the  highest regard whether Black or White. Might be difficult to say Americans are tier 2. They don't have any of the citizens,  rights though.
Tier 2   - Other Westerners and Other GCC nationals (Bahraini, Qatari and Emirati especially,  Not so much for Saudi or Omani)
Tier 3   - Other Arabs i.e Syrians, Egyptians and such.
Tier 4   - Filipinos
Tier 5   - The lowest tier consists of Indians, Bangladeshis and anyone unfortunate enough to look like them.

For a Black African and Nigerian who spoke good English and went to University with some of them, Surprisingly enough you ended up somewhere between Tier 2 and 3. Sometimes Tier 2. This was due to 1. The American effect. A lot of people easily would mistake you for an American. If you were Nigerian,  extra Bonus. Each time you told the average Kuwaiti you were Nigerian,  Next word would be Martins, Okocha,  or even Yobo. Surprsingly enough,  they related relatively well compared to what you might expect.

Had a classmate who refused to call me by name and preferred to yell out "YOBO" whenever he saw me.
All your responses to the topic have been spot on, am presently in the middle east and i walk tall around cause i work as an expat. They ve got indigenes with black skins so your tier depends on where you place yourself. I have people speak arabic to me and i just smile and shake my head and respond in english, then you see the light in their eyes with their next word being "american?", then i come with killer response- Nigerian, then the light brightens with their next line being "oh! do you know Amokachi? Okocha?" Do i need teel you these same people behave differently to the Indians and Fillipinos. Racism and discrimination you might say, but its everywhere though am not supporting it and it's funny to know the white Arabs discriminate against the black Arabs in terms of marriage and co.

And for the expats, they can wail all they like, i ll never be moved. Most of them live a glamourous life driving cars they can only afford in their dreams back in their countries, though the cars dont really matter cause you dont pay taxes on them after you ve purchased and you even buy them very cheap. But what of the other ways of emcompassing slaves/maids? Staying permanently in hotels? Over-spending in clubs everyday cause its a free world (The free is for Dubai alone, you can't try that in Saudi). And people like Karen had the gut to complain about bad-governance cause they didn't allow her file for bankruptcy and run away. Can life be so smooth for an expat in Canada like the one she had in Dubai? Why is the government still allowing her drive a Range Rover when she's in debt? I think that car should be taken away from her as well.
I ve driven in Dubai and some other Middle East countries and i have never had any Indian jumped in front of my car cause of compensation. Everybody loves life and wants to live no matter how poor they are, people should stop complaining about police being hard on you when they discover a trace of alcohol in your blood after being involved in an accident, aren't people breathalysed and punished when same happens in Europe?

To the construction site slaves, it's a pity the Dubai government is not doing anything to stop it. But judging rationally and not emotionally, its obvious the agents are not Emiratis but westerners and sometimes well-to-do Indians, going off to the third world countries to haul off farmers from their farms promising them heaven in Dubai. Though some of them have not defaulted in the salary agreement but have only factored in the transportation, feeding and accomodation cost thereby reducing the salary, and the only rational deduction i can give to the witholding of international passport is an assurance of putting your slave on a leash to avoid running away before paying-up the expenses incurred in bringing him/her to slavery. Like i said, it's disheartening, lets just hope the agents dont start patronizing Nigerians in the nearest future. Though i ve met a couple of Nigerians in Dubai and one of them once told me he's better off in Dubai with his monthly salary of 5000AED (dunno if he was saying the truth cause he works in an hotel) compared to what he was getting back then at home as police officer and had even been scammed by some agents trying to get him to America before finally banging Dubai.

All the gibberish i ve written above is because of my annoyance towards the Nigerian government and i would appreciate some intelligent people answering these my stupid questions

-Was Nigeria released from the British tyrants in 1960?

-Was Dubai released from the same British tyrants in 1971? (Pls do the math for the year difference)

-Is Nigeria better located geographically than Dubai's hot desert?

-Do they both have Oil in their countries?

-Why has Dubai developed light years ahead of Nigeria?

-Why do Nigeria politicians still take our money to Dubai to develop the Arabs economy in the name of vacationing and buying properties?

-Why do we have potholes on our major highways whilst you can see a smooth 7-lane road in Dubai?
