also,since the spyware has to be downloaded straight onto the phone, it can be very difficult to install without the owner knowing it(unless you were clumsy like that)

Yeah, i ve seen a lot been made for parents to monitor their kids,
but the right version being used by government (where u wont know u re being watched) to monitor pple re stil not freely available (may be wrong though)
so only a fool wud use her/his fone for "runs" wen s/he knows there's a spy on it

I was surprised to hear about cell phone spyware. It seems that they work like a charm. These devices allow people to monitor your movements, read your text messages and listen to your calls. So no more cheating and lies! Phew!!! lol!

moreover, its stil not like an antivirus soft u just walk into a store to buy
