But those who know are swearing by their progenitors that the acrimony between erstwhile collaborators, Don Jazzy and D’banj would never thaw as both have now started getting even with each other through the most unexpected channel. Reliable and redoubtable sources tell us that Don Jazzy has been knocking knees, merging sweaty bodies and burrowing at will into the widely sought-after sanctum of popular actress, Genevieve Nnaji’s.

Confirmed by two A-List celebrities, the shocking tryst between the producer and the star actress, we gathered, has been on for a few months. “Since D’banj heard the story which he also confirmed from his own independent investigation, he has been unhappy and telling those within earshot how he further feels betrayed by Don Jazzy,” one of the sources told Epochng. 3. The national Assembly will pass new budget to accommodate burial expenses.
4. There will be a national aso ebi (uniform) imported from Holland, which will be made compulsory for every Nigerian to buy, sew and wear.
5. During the 5 years of mourning, Governors, traditional rulers, students bodies will struggle to book for appointments to visit and pay condolence to Mr President.

The involvement of females in robbery nowadays is on the increase.

An Igbosere Magistrates’ Court in Lagos on Wednesday remanded a woman and four men, charged with conspiracy and armed robbery.

The magistrate, Mrs. Mulikat Ali-Balogun, ordered that the accused be remanded in prison, pending an advice from the office of the Director of Public Prosecutions.

The accused are Femi John, 27, Abideen Kareem, 37, Ebe Jafaru, 47, Bolarinwa Kazeem, 47, and Olaide Yaya, 39, the only female member of the gang

They are facing three-count charge of conspiracy and armed robbery.

The prosecutor, Assistant Superintendent of Police Charles Odil, had told the court that the accused and others at large, committed the offences on August 15, 2013 at 2am

Odil said that the accused conspired to commit robbery at the Ibeto Group Depot at Apapa.

He said they went to the Lagos-Ibadan Toll Gate, where they robbed a truck with registration number KUJ 446XA, conveying 33,000 litres of kerosene worth N4m.

According to him, the truck belongs to Arkol Petroleum and Gas Ltd.

The prosecutor explained that the offences contravene Sections 1(2)(a), (b), 5(b) and 6(b) of the Robbery and Firearms (Special Provision) of the Laws of the Federation of Nigeria, 2004.

The News Agency of Nigeria reports that the offence of armed robbery attracts death penalty.

The pleas of the accused persons were, however, not taken.

The magistrate adjourned the case till January 14, 2014.

Human rights activist and President of Civil Rights Congress, CRC, Mr. Shehu Sani, yesterday, alleged that it was President Goodluck Jonathan that scuttled an initial effort to constructively engage key members of the Boko Haram Islamist sect with a view to convincing them to end the blood-letting insurgency in the northern part of the country.

Sani, who spoke at a seminar for judges and journalists, organised by Konrad-Adenaver-Stitung, KAS, a German non-governmental organisation, gave an account of some underground moves that were made by some elder statesmen, including former President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo.

Sani, who presented a paper on The Difficulties of Political Cases in Justice Delivery, recalled how he persuaded Obasanjo to visit the family of the slain leader of Boko Haram, Mohammed Yusuf, in Maiduguri on a peace mission.
It will be recalled that the representative of Mohammed Yusufs’ family, Babakura Fugu, who hosted Obasanjo in Maiduguri, was killed shortly after the meeting.

However, Sani said he opted out of the presidential committee because he was convinced that it would not achieve anything given his earlier experience with the Presidency on the matter.

“Nigeria is bleeding and the hemorrhage must be stopped,” Mr. Obasanjo said in the 18-page letter dated December 2, 2013.

He said Mr. Jonathan has failed to deliver on his promises to the Nigerian people, stem corruption, promote national unity and strengthen national security.

He said in the letter titled “Before it is too late” that rather than take steps to advance Nigeria’s interest and up the standards of living of Nigerians, Mr. Jonathan had betrayed God and the Nigerian people that brought him to power, and has been pursuing selfish personal and political interests based on advice he receives from “self-centred aides”.

In the detailed letter, dripping of anger , frustration and what appears a genuine concern to rescue a nation on the brink, Mr. Obasanjo lamented that Mr. Jonathan had become terribly divisive and clannish, destroying his own party, polarizing the country along regional and religious lines and ridiculing Nigeria in the comity of nations.

Without mincing words, Mr. Obasanjo blamed Mr. Jonathan for the crises tearing the ruling Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, apart.

He said apart from using party chairman Bamanga Tukur to cause multiple crises and divide the ranks of the party, the president’s failure to keep a promise he made not to seek a second term is also generating tension within the ruling party.

Not less than 50 Boko Haram members were killed yesterday at different camps along Damboa- Gwoza road in Borno state by Military men. The attack was carried out on land and on air at Bita village near Damboa town, 85km away from Maiduguri, Borno State capital.

Report had it that the military attack started on Sunday and ended on Tuesday.
The attack was said to be successful.

Multiple explosions occurred in Gayawa village, Ungogo Local Government area of Kano state on tuesday morning. It was accompanied by sporadic gunshots.

Report had it that the early morning military raid lasted for one and half hours and there are fears of heavy casualties among the suspected insurgents
It was also learnt that Tuesday’s operation was on the heels of a raid where two soldiers and two suspected terrorists were killed in the city.

The JTF commanders was unable to be interview nor did he make any statement concerning the incidence.

Chris Brown is in the middle of another controversy after being arrested on Oct. 27 for allegedly punching a man outside of his hotel in Washington D.C. And with the singer still on probation for his 2009 assault case involving Rihanna, Chris could be headed to prison.

Chris Brown was arrested at 4:25 this morning in front of the W hotel. Chris along with Chris Hollosy were involved in a physical altercation with an adult male, and both were charged with felony assault.
Chris was reportedly coming from a party-hosting gig at Park and 14th nightclub — though law enforcement has reportedly claimed that Chris did not appear to be under the influence of any substances at the time of the confrontation,
The fight allegedly broke out when two men tried to jump into a photo Chris was taking with a couple of female fans. Chris reportedly said, “I’m not into this gay s**t, I’m into boxing” and then threw a punch at one of the guys.

Sexually attraction is one of the basic nature of adult humans. What's inhumane about that? Now, I can argue that to tarnish the reputation of these atheletes based on assumption of something that is really none of your business is inhumane (your word, not mine).
It is really a shame that you compare homosexuality to illness. Obviously, you haven't been to a hospital recently. But I don't have a problem with that. It is the fact that you are so close minded that I find /unhealthy/ .
And this isn't my opinion; it's common sense.

Point well delivered. But in the end, some things are meant to be done in certain ways. Sex is meant to be an act of intercourse between a man and a woman. Period. Except you aren't religious(Any religion), you have no grounds to dispute that. Finding excuses for things that we all know don't improve us humans as a specie or as creatures of God is simply vile, vague, myopic and vain.

I agree that a man sleeping around with a lot of women is wrong. I don't dispute that. But what you wont find me doing is trying to convince you that there is nothing wrong with it. Sex between humans of the same sex is the most condescending state we could possible yield to. Hell, even animals are smart enough not to do that.

We are all going blindly along with a rhetoric without even stopping, thinking and weighting the consequences of our actions. I'll give you an example:

50 yrs ago smoking cigarettes was as fashionable and classy as one could be...fast forward to today and guess what? the same people who told you to pick up the cancer sticks are putting people who have built a livelihood off it out of work. Why? the truth finally caught up with them.

imagine...just imaging, I'm not saying it is remotely possible but just put you imagination to work here: What if every man preferred or developed a sexual attraction to men. how would that affect the population?
