Bitcoin doesn't follow the demand and supply rule. In economics, there are some goods and services that don't follow the demand and supply rule. Bitcoin is one of them.

Bitcoin has always gained massive growth after Halving, taking us back to July 2016 Halving, which was the second Halving that saw Bitcoin Block reward reduced to 12.5 BTC and reached a massive ATH of 20,000 USD in 2017.
The third Halving will be occurring this new year 2020, and the Block reward will get reduced to 6.25 BTC. What do you think the price of bitcoin will be after the third Halving? Do you believe the prediction of 100k USD by some industry experts will be?

We might have read that Bitcoin has a max mining output of 21 million BTC to be mined by the year 2140, and about 85% mined already.
A protocol created within the network which tends to perform a cut in the block reward after a certain number of Block has been reached (210,000 Blocks), this tends to make the mining of coins more difficult by reducing the reward by Half. Miners receive 50% fewer BTC for verifying a transaction. that is what is called Bitcoin Halving.


Block is a term used to define a new set of transactions added to the bitcoin blockchain network by miners and rewarded for it; that is what we call “block reward.” The miners use specialized equipment and load electricity to solve complex mathematical problems to be able to achieve this, which occurs every 10 minutes on the network.

What will halving mean for the Bitcoin price? The simplest way to answer; look at low supply and more demand theories in our regular market. When a commodity is not readily available to meet increasing demand could help in boosting the price demand on the commodity. That theory does not mean any form of financial advice, but logic, you still need to study and make your decisions according to your capacity.
