Every day my heart breaks when I see people who think they can make money by simply watching videos.

If ₦30,000 can be realised from watching videos who will remain in the labour market?

At the end of the day they find themselves in some affiliate marketing program that will subtly stretch to a point whereby the initiator would have achieved their goals through the simple tasks you're asked to do but eventually defaults in paying till you're given more tasks.

I see people tapping their phones but I haven't seen anyone cashing out.. funny everyone wants to give you the impression they're making easy money when they're making nothing.

Hard work pays. Get something doing and don't despise days of little beginnings.
What you don't understand is bigger than you. Have never scammed anyone on Nairaland before

There is a site where you can make 30k on a week by simply watching 10 seconds video everyday. So if 30k isn't too small for you. Kindly drop your whatsapp contact

When it is not a person's work sector, people tend to think the work is easy. If only they know the hours put into only debugging

This is the First time I am hearing of any of such claims.

Maybe, it's the general misconception that tech workers do less labor and get more pay than hose doing manual physical labor
Yea some people feel they do less work and have very high pay especially when someone is working remotely making money those working 8 - 5pm
ProgrammingWhy Does Everyone Want Tech Jobs To Fail by emee701(op): 5:55pm On Aug 11, 2024
Lately, I've noticed a lot of discussions about the supposed collapse of the tech job market. It’s like people are eagerly waiting for the bubble to burst, almost as if they want tech jobs to devaluate. Or maybe it’s just a backlash against the rapid growth and high salaries that have defined tech field for so long?

I get that the tech industry has had its fair share of excesses and issues, but it feels like there's a deeper narrative at play here. Are people outside of tech just tired of hearing about high paychecks and perks? Is there a sense of "finally, they're getting what they deserve" from those who feel tech has been overhyped? Or is it just envy or jealousy?
