For almost two weeks, former nitel workers have kept the office of the Ag under lock and key. protesting the non-payment of the benefits the BPE is supposed to pay them in December,  then 3 days ago, while addressing the dis-engaged workers, tried to stop the AIT from covering his speech (why?) but to the disagreement of the protesters who insisted that the ait MUST have it in video, 

that was how the "fight'' began,  and it ended with about 11 protesting workers ending up at the hospital with one of the workers loosing his hand (not sure whether its the arm or the finger ) after being beat up by the Ag's workers,

one of the disengaged workers who was interviewed said that

they were forced to sign that they have received the benefits in December but up till now, no money has been paid to their accounts, and alleged that he finance minister who has left his office for political ambitions and is currently being probed has made away with their money

the accountant generals office is still under lock and key hospitalized
