Marc9: Gues u're nt getting my point, and u probably didn't read my follow up quotes. D que was abt similarities btw reptiles and birds. If u talk about evolution, scale is nt d founding evidence of birds evolving frm reptiles, after all, mammals also evolved frm reptile. D "All of the above option" was supposed to be d rite answer, but d examiner didn't take account of d "beak" option which flawed d intended answer cos reptiles don't hv beak. D question cld hv bn one of these is (NOT) the similarities btw reptiles and birds, den "beak" wld hv bn d answer, cos oda options are found in both. [legs (except for snakes), claws (except for snakes as well), scales (except for geckos whch lack scales and are warm blooded). So all of d above was their intention, but d examiner dat set dat que forgot that "beak" invalidates d intended answer. Dats my final take on dis issue!

Marc9: Also, nt all reptiles are scaled(e.g geckos). I think d closest rite answer is claw,(dats if d examiner didn't take account or didn't knw dat some reptiles are appendageless)! Abeg d question and d option no get head jare! They shld hv asked difference(s) btw dem, nt similarities jare,from experience the answer na scales ooo.........to most thingz,there are alwayz exceptions ..........but in general,birds are glorified reptiles because of the remains of scales on their hind limbs ! |

Do you think UI use a negative marking scheme for their PUME?the school have her own way of moderating scores if there is massive pass.......for example if d school chooses to moderate d general score by 0.9.......a candidate who ordinarily was suppose to score 90 ends up scoring 81..........i.e 90*0.9=81............also a candidate who was suppose to score 76 ends up scoring 68 and so on........itz jus a way of moderating and standardizing d exam which d senate might just decide to use.........just my feelingz though cos atimes d scores are realeased d way they are if there is massive failure.......... |

Victomolola: Please my brother, do you see oau chemistry question of 2012/2013 and 2013/2014 if you have seen it before, is it like this? How hard is it?I sat for both OAU and UI putme last year.......an exam can appear very simple but easy to fail cause u never can tell how the marking scheme looks like.........no doubt OAU PUTME CHEMISTRY is tougher than UIs........but ui marking scheme is not friendly........then coupld with ui not allowing calculators,dat can make u slower dan if u are allowed to use jamb calculator......d main thing is just their marking scheme......U can't believe that despite how simple last year's questions were,the highest was 83% |
