What it means is that if fuel was 1000 in December and its 942 in February. You then say inflation is falling. Nations use 4 years or 10 years back as base year. Nigeria uses 2 months back to calculate base year. If truly inflation is falling then cbn should reduce rates for local and foreign debt.
