I got scammed as a newbie in same instance. A little rule on posting format can help curb down scammers.

I don't see the sense of advertising on here and not make your number public. If someone gets scammed under your name, you share a bit of blame. Yes, you do. Cause when numbers are looked up, your handle is supposed to pop up.
Now that you don't have a number, how can one relate if its you or not?

Honestly, it sickens me to see people drop adverts and not have contact details. Only asking you to quote with Whatsapp details and have them chat you.

it is a flutterwave account WEMAalat. WEMA bank cant help you. You need to contact flutterwave. They will block the account for sure.

I was scammed before from someone on nairaland. It is why i am very careful here. Majority of the scammer are guests. They stay and look for newbies and inexperience trader.

With escrow you dont need all this screenshot of evidence. All you need is to provide evidence of sending to the reciever and the reciever will also confirm recieving it.

It is very possible. I was scammed by someone on this site as i was still a newbie in the business section. I didnt know about escrow services, i was banking on trust and identity verification. I exchanged my BVN and other ID while the scammer did to me too. I verified his BVN and i felt comfortable to proceed as a newbie. He scammed me of 216K and i mailed all my connects to have him fished out as i am out of naija. Yet to be fished out as i have all his account blocked plus those he moved the money out to. I have efcc and his banker on his neck. So he told me i will pay for it. The next i see the werey do was to used my details to open an account and wanted to start scamming people. Luckily one of person he try to scam, when through my old post and found my number, she chatted me and call my attention to it.

Immediately i mailed opay and kuda and copy my lawyer and police friend. That was how he couldnt personate and use my details again.

He came to nairaland to even defame me, i laff. BVN is very sensitive and one needs to be careful as my experience was painful.

Opay is very worst and i feel their KYC is very POOR. For Kuda, u cant use someone else BVN to operate an account.

Wemaalat is also a very useless bank managed with wema bank in conjuction with flutterwave
