go back tomorrow with proof of purchase and ask to see the DTO or DPO. they will think its a stolen vehicle just drive it to the station and come with your proof of ownership tomorrow

where do i get the proof of ownership? all the papers are still in former owner name . i showed them the receipt of purchase but they ignore it.

Guys,pls i need your advise.

While driving around my area,a police officer on stop and search junction asked for my papers and driving license which i did.

The car belongs to a friend who just purchased it as in Nigerian used but has not done change of ownership.

The police officer insist on detaining the car because it doesnt belong me.

What do you advise?
