Cibadau: Pls gurus in the house, my brother's Tecno M3 is showing only Tecno logo and android animation. It happens when he was trying to do a factory reset. To make matters worse the phone refused to boot into recovery mode, it is rooted and there is CMW installed but no backup please help.

Nothing to worry about. remove the battery for 30 seconds then slot back in and boot. leave it to continue and it will finish up then work

My Tecno M5 phone works properly, however I realised yesterday that I couldn't update my apps because it says device does not have enough memory ( that is, insuficient space on the device), even though I still have around 1gig free space both on my device and on my SD Card.

I also realised I couldnt even save pics from Facebook too, yet it says I don't have enough memory. Your help is highly needed.

The phone storage isn't where the problem is from. it's from your internal memory , log or cache .
1. Where are your apps installed to by default?
2. Is the phone rooted?
3. Check your storage details @ settings > storage and let's know what it says

Factory reset isn't the answer to every Tecno phone problem. It's important to diagnose the source of the memory issue and address it. It'll very likely resurface even after a factory reset
