FamilyLet's Say No To POLYGAMY by ernesterioo(op): 6:15pm On Nov 28, 2014
Let's say no to POLYGAMY either in a relationship or in marriage. God made one woman for one man. But when a man has 2,3,4 or even 7 wives, he has deprived some many men of wives..that's why some culture marry younger girls because of the scarcity of older women. I don't know why a man would just heap plenty trouble on his head cos if he is dating or marrying somebody like me ND now decides to marry join me, na die b dat becos only me one na double trouble.... Moral of my story..... One woman is alone for u... There should be a balance BTW demand and supply of women....

Nairaland GeneralIs Goodluck Jonathan Sleeping by ernesterioo(op): 6:50am On Oct 05, 2014
President Jonathan is yet to address the nation concerning the killing of 70 Nigerians yesterday on Sallah day in Adamawa. He is also yet to talk to the nation concerning the Nigerian Air Force pilot whose jet was shot down by Boko Haram before he was then slaughtered. Meanwhile in Aso Rock, the President is beaming with smiles as if all is well. Before anyone will call me an alarmist, is it not alarming that Boko Haram now has the capability to shoot down a military aircraft? Does that not bother you at all? And this is a group that we once described as a 'ragtag' band of rebels. Is this not a classic guerilla force in action? What happens when they shoot down a commercial airliner like the crazy monsters did in Ukraine? Does this development mean that Nigerians flying commercial airlines along that route are not safe anymore? Have you thought of the consequences at all? With this capability, it means that even the President himself is not safe anymore because his Presidential Air Fleet must not do mistake pass over northeast...whoknows the plans of the terrorists? If the Nigerian Air Force cannot fully take control of the country's airspace, do you know what that means at all? And to know that President Jonathan just gave the Chief of Air Staff one of the highest national honours, for what exactly? For the missing jets or the slaughtered air force officers? Remember, this is not the first Air Force guy BH will be slaughtering? And for those who know the story of Rwanda, you will remember that precisely what sparked the genocide was the shooting down of President Juvenal Habyarimana's Falcon jet in 1994. On April 6, 1994, he was killed when his airplane, also carrying the President of neighbouring Burundi, Cyprien Ntaryamira, was shot down close to Kigali International Airport, the plane went crashing on the grounds of the presidential palace. He was nicknamed "Kinani", a Kinyarwanda word meaning "invincible" but his assassination opened the gates of hell by igniting ethnic tensions in the region and helped spark the Rwandan Genocide. So if our generals and Commander-in-Chief like, they should keep clinking glasses of wine in Aso Rock. I really hope we are not on the way to Kigali. But with this dude at the top who thinks ruling is all about smiling before cameras and blaming the opposition and asking for more and more money, I really don't know....

Nairaland GeneralShould Schools Resume 22nd Or Not by ernesterioo(op): 11:30am On Sep 06, 2014
So i'm really not sute what side to take on this matter. Someone sent this piece to me and i decided to share it anyway. Should the children resume or should they stay at home? Here it is.It's clear that some influential private school owners have lobbied government to reopen schools earlier than planned because of their selfish interests and to the detriment of our little ones. While govt was still looking for a way to contain this ebola menace, some private schools had already asked their teachers to resume, in defiance of govt orders. Our children must not be sacrificial lambs in whatever business govt and school owners are engaging in!!!! Most of them have kids schooling abroad, so what is their business? I received this broadcast on my BlackBerry from a friend and I'm passing it on. Please rbcHmmm, Government is considering opening schools earlier than the initial announcement, I certainly hope this is not a "Cross our fingers and hope for the best approach by the different ministries and stakeholders involved. Has Ebola been successfully contained, have people stopped escaping from Quarantine, have all the contacts been successfully traced and put under Surveillance. If Schools do open earlier than planned, can you honestly tell me that a School in Mushin has been equipped with EVD preventive measures like a School in Victoria Island not by themselves but by the Govt because the School Driver or Cleaner in VI can get EVD from his child who schools in Mushin and give it to the Children in the VI School, if the School in Mushin is left to fend for itself, like we all fend for ourselves in this Country. This should not be a Game of Chance or Greed, the Lives of our Children are at stake so the Government should do the Right thing by Everyone in this Ebola Fight.
