I see it more as a deeper theological interpretation of Yeshua that developed later within the early Christian movement.

Here’s why I say that:
When you read Mark, Matthew, and Luke carefully…
Yeshua mostly talks about:
👉 The Kingdom of God
👉 Inner transformation
👉 Love
👉 Forgiveness
👉 Awareness
👉 Repentance (“change your mind”)

But when you get to John, the focus shifts much more toward:
👉 Believing in Yeshua himself
👉 His divine identity
👉 Cosmic language
👉 “I am” statements
👉 Eternal life through belief in Him

That doesn’t necessarily make John false.
It just means John is presenting Yeshua through a more mystical and theological lens.

And historically, John was written later than the other gospels.

Most scholars place:
👉 Mark around 65–70 CE
👉 Matthew/Luke around 80–90 CE
👉 John around 90–110 CE

So by the time John was written, the movement had already evolved significantly and was reflecting more deeply on who Yeshua was spiritually and cosmically.

That’s why John feels very different in tone from the earlier gospels.

For example:
In the earlier gospels:
👉 Yeshua teaches mainly through short parables and wisdom sayings.

In John:
👉 Long philosophical conversations dominate.

So personally, I don’t approach it as:
👉 “One is true and the other is false.”

I approach it more like:
👉 Different layers of interpretation around the same teacher.

My deeper question is simply this:
👉 Did later theology gradually shift the focus away from the message Yeshua preached most often, the Kingdom within, awakening, transformation, toward primarily believing certain things about Him?

That’s the conversation I’m exploring.
