Nnamdi Kanu: Militants declare war on FG
Call on United Nations to prevail on go

TWO militant groups in the Niger Delta region have declared their readiness to confront the Federal government in battle for its refusal to release the detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and Director, Radio Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu.
The groups, Concerned Militant Leaders (CML) and Niger Delta People’s Democratic Front (NDPDF) made the declaration yesterday in separate statements in port Harcourt, Rivers State, following reports that there were plans by the Federal Government, to use witnesses in mask, to testify against the leader of IPOB, who was charged of treason in court.
Reacting to the report, leaders of the two groups, General Ben (CML) and Precious Iyoyo (aka General playboy), stated that since President Muhammadu Buhari-led government was determined to cause problem in the country particularly in the South-South and South-East zones, by stubbornly refusing to release Kanu, the groups were ready to cripple the economy.
Specifically, General Ben, who is known for his blunt statements, said when the 31 day-ultimatum given to the federal goverment to release the IPOB leader expires tomorrow, Monday, February 22, the battle line would have been drawn. Ben, in the CML statement, declared that the target areas of the first stage of the uprising would be in Abia and Anambra States, as well as Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
He said that the group’s reason for the two states and Abuja was because they were the major places where Federal Government shed the blood of their “brothers and sisters.”
General Ben declared: “We are ready for Federal Government, which said we would be treated as criminals and saboteurs. The 31-day ultimatum will expire on Monday. We are ready and will attack them in Abia, Anambra and Abuja, where they shed the blood of Biafran brothers and ssters. “We are not going to attack the civilians per se; but we are going to attack the presence of the Federal Government in the areas. If President Buhari could not clear Boko Haram in six months, as he told Nigerians, why didn’t he focus attention on the North? Why did he waste the blood of Biafrans people?

“We are in solidarity with the Biafran struggle and there is no going back. We are taking our revenge. We are not going to spare them. We don’t believe in much talk. Enough is enough,” Ben threatened.
Similarly, General Playboy threatened that any ettempt by the federal government, through security agencies, to use masked witnesses against the IPOB leader, would not go without dire consequencies.
Playboy implored the United Nations (UN) to prevail on the Nigerian government to allow peace reign in the country, freeing Kanu and allowing Biafra to have its sovereignty.
“If this nonsense is allowed to go on, lives of innocent people, both Hausa, Yoruba, Igbo and foreigners will go down.
Many countries parted for peace, why is the case of Nigeria and biafra too difficult? To be together is not by force.
“If they (UN) don’t intervene in this matter, and Nigerian government goes ahead to execute its plans to annihilate Biafrans, we will cripple the economy of this country. All eyes are on government not only Kanu but on Tompolo too. The government is treading on very rough and dangerous path,” General Playboy declared.

PoliticsRe: What Is The Geographical Size Of The South East Region by EteEdoho: 12:42pm On Feb 18, 2016
omonnakoda:
According to Wikipedia it is 29 385 square kilometres

and Nigeria is 923 768 square kilometres

i.e the SE is 3.1% of the land mass of Nigeria

To put it in further perspective

Cross River State is 20 000 sq Km

Kwars State is 36 000 sq km
Niger State is 76000 Sq km

Oyo State is 28 454 Sq km

It is important to have this sense of perspective when people start agitating for projects to their zones
The is a very tiny place and is less four 4 percent of Nigeria but want an equal share of projects with zones that are 10 times their size. This is wicked and this attitude should change
How about allowing each zone exploiting its resources and using it to develop at their own pace?. Lets agree, Kwara and Niger state are 36 and 76 respectively, and SE is 29385sqkms. Is that why you parasitically clinge unto ONE NIGERIA,because you want to take the resources from SE to feed the barren north?. If they are smaller in your imagination,to be developed by Nigeria, why not allow them use their resources and develop at their own pace?. BTW, it's only in Nigeria you hear useless logics. All around the world, developmental projects are channeled where they are most needed. And not based on the geographical size.

Najatu Muhammad have become the first Nigerian to reject appointment from president Buhari.

In a newspaper advert, she wrote:

Re: Federal Ministry of Education.Reconstitution of the Governing Councils of 12 federal Universities.

I, Najatu Muhammad wishes to thank you so much for considering me worthy of being appointed the chairperson of Dutse Federal University. It’s however, unfortunate that I was not consulted before the announcement in the media. I also regret that I have to use the same medium to announce that I can’t accept the appointment for some personal reasons. I will however, remain an ardent supporter of President Buhari in his effort in charting a new course for this country. A course that we pray will put this country back on the path of progress. I will also continue to support the president’s fight against corruption and other ills of this country. My unflinching support for the President will remain for Allah’s sake and country. I pray that Allah will continue to guide and protect our President.

Long live the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Thank you

Najatu Muhammad

Heaven knows that if all the fraudulent cost items are removed from this budget it can not be more than 4 and a 1/2 trillion. But these people decided to hardwire all sorts of yams into the budget for the saintly goats to devour while proposing to incur huge debts for us and our children.

President Buhari should return to the drawing board and comeup with a new budget of realistic expense items because this particular one (in the words of my friend and ardent Buharist) "does not reflect his character".
That your friend doesn't want to accept the fact that he or she has been scammed.

I had thought Buhari was the only dullard but I thought wrong. Falana is even a bigger dullard.

if I were Buhari, I'll make a mess of Falana by setting up a special task force in charge of recovering the imaginary $20.2 billion and I'll make Falana to lead the task force. That would do the trick. Let's see how the garrulous Falana will be tamed into realising that there was no $20.2 billion after all grin

Kwara: The Nupe-Yoruba Clash: Our Own Nupe Side of the Story

The Yoruba people have resorted to distorting the story of the recent Tsaragi-Share clash in the media. They are planting false reports and news in the national dailies claiming that they are the victims of an attack by an irate mob of our Nupe youth from Tsaragi. That claim is of course a capital and defeatist lie.

We don’t have the money or the political clout to make the Nigerian national dailies tell distorted and false stories about the Tsaragi-Share clash. But we have this NCRC (Nupe Cultural and Resource Center) Facebook page to let the world know of our own side of the story. With over 40,000 (forty thousand) members and over 500,000 (five hundred thousand) regular visitors this is, you can’t believe it, the most powerful media outreach in KinNupe and among the Nupe people throughout...>>>READ: http://naijapropa.com/the-tsaragi-share-clash-our-own-nupe-side-of-the-story/
