This is what everyone should learn to do. When someone assists you, don't hesitate to thank them by prostrating in public. The beneficiary of the kind gesture of such remarkable show of thankfulness will also not hesitate to gladly assist you more in the coming days ahead.

Do yours and leave others to theirs

Typical foolish mentality from a product of the other side. I can show you a picture of Obasanjo right prostrating to the current Olu of Warri. You lack culture, tradition and respect. See this one foolishly saying it's about money.

In Igbo land, I have seen where a father was told to stand up for his son to sit simply because his son has money.

Pls stop being stupid telling lies and God punish you for that lie

We have passed stage of love and oneness, we are in stage of tolerance and rule of law, everyone is launching Ipob, amotekun, ESN etc...the love is fake in Nigeria...if the country or this dispensation is not favoring you, it's your business. We are not same, we are not brothers, nothing unite us...only to live in tolerance, and the constitution as our guide, I have no business with your suffering or anger over who rules the country, pursue your interest I pursue mine. East and West is different, same as North and South.

Your so called wisdom of killing your fathers, chiefs and cannibalizing your kins is indeed the highest stupidity and dumbness, you have no justification to judge anyone, everyone knows you people are the most greedy and self centered, killing for money etc, everyone knows, keep your hypocrisy to your self.

Face your state and region, we all know where we are from, we are not same.

See you wey no like money, full time CERTIFIED TRIBALIST... Just come clean with your TREACHEROUS attitude . Okay? No need sef you re already known for that.. Who is even same with you skull miners and full time RITUALISTs

Not all are crafty, looking out for your best interest is wisdom...what matters in this life is looking out for your best interest, this is what politics is about, don't forget we are different regions. Do what is best for you and your people. This is understanding of life.

You dont need to be crafty, cunni6and TREACHEROUS to get what you ought to have... All your greed and selfishness all in the name of looking out for your beat interest has made you tell so much lies and propaganda .. Now see how your so called wisdom which is obviously certified FOOLISHNESS has caused Nigeria... Now what did you gain in all these 7 years of looking out for your best interest? Thank God for that book launch and its contents for exposing you all .

My dear greed ,selfishness and being self centred is your problem... Nothing other than that.

The problem with folks like you is that you react emotionally based on lies and half truth. See ehn, pragmatism is very key in politics. Calling people evil etc over political choices is petty, emotional and childish. You need to grow up.

Btw, please know that the south west made Jonathan. Obasanjo made him Vice President and the south west media and civil societies through the Save Nigeria Group made Jonathan acting president even when prominent Igbo leaders like the then PDP chairman and governors were against him. In 2011, the south west voted massively for him and he won the election. The agreement was that he would serve for just four years and allow power to return to the south after serving cumulatively for about 6 years.

Well, he broke the promise and the South west did the right thing on behalf of the south by supporting the North in 2015. We don’t play politics of emotion in the south west. It was a pragmatic decision in the overall best interest of the country.

Your last paragraph just confirmed that you a such a big f..o.l...

Ofcourse, the Yoruba are wiser than those that claim they’re the smartest and most intelligent tribe on earth.
The Yoruba can never indulge in cannibalism like the human-eating-con artists (Ipob).

Family / Re: There Are Still Good days in Marriage. by Evercurious(f): 2:10pm On Dec 28, 2021
GboyegaD:
My parents were married for 33 years before my dad's demise. My dad was a regional manager and my mum a banker back in the days. My dad suggested my mom quit banking and focus on us. Unfortunately, shortly after came the Structural Adjustment Program (SAP) and my dad was laid off.

At some point my mom suggested going into food selling business but my dad objected out of pride. She later started small and the business came through for the family since it provided shelter and food for us. At that time, my dad joined in support despite getting a new job and it became our family business.

As for me, I got married at a point I was starting another graduate degree (this time without any funding whatsoever) and the little money I has want going to see us through. My wife supported with the funds she had and stayed through even when it seemed we were so broke. Upon completion of my program, it took about 6 months to get my desired job and in between, we both had to do a minimum paying job and manage our baby in between the job.

She's so much supportive of me and vice versa. We discussed how to navigate any terrain we find ourselves and I think that is what we should encourage people to discuss while dating so that they know what to expect in awkward situations.

God bless your home

Lol! You funny sha.

But that's the point of this thread: just as you have failed marriages, you also have successful marriage, so it's a matter of ones being true or not, it's about individual experiences, some good, some bad

Yea I understand the essence of this thread and I also know and understand what I said.

So shall it be according to your faith. Just note that most of those people having negative comments here on nairaland are from ' troubled' homes with failed marriages. So their experiences doesnt not necessarily have to be the truth
