This is what we have been trying to enlighten wailers but they have refused to learn, even the NBA who are supposed to be learned are acting like a road side charge and bail lawyers because of N300 million bribe they collected from Fubara.
The constitution empowered the President to exercise extraordinary measures in a state of emergency and the extraordinary measures can be interpreted to mean suspending the Governor and the Legislative house of the state as deemed fit by the President. However, only the Supreme Court can interprete what the extraordinary measures means. Those road side charge and bail lawyers should instead be enlightening the masses to await the SC verdict on the case rather than taking sides and making ignorant conclusion.

I do not think any reasonable lawyer would want to go to court claiming illegality of the SOE as an argument point when the same court recognizes the SOE as constitutionally lawful. I think that's dumb. You will never win that case.
Secondly, look at the choice of words, sounds like someone who struggled to complete school at all levels.
Lastly, this news or article is not on the webpage of any reasonable media outlet. Did the author even refence the source of this??

Some of my colleagues went further to argue that the NBA should not collect money from the government and that the NBA must be self-funding.

Okutepa just shot himself in the leg with the above bolded statement. He said the money was donated by the governor, SIM. If he's smart enough, he should have said the money was donated by the Rivers State government. Authority is vested in the person(SIM) and power is vested in the Office (Governor).
How much does SIM earn as salary if he's donating as an individual? A former accountant general of the state. There should be a clear line between donation as an individual or on behalf of the state.
