There's There's a woman in TX, a few years older than me. Her husband invited her, enrolled her to study nursing and paid all the expensive fees. They're no more together as I speak. She's super rich now and said she'd be a custodian to their 4 children. The guy has nothing. He spent all his savings on her education, no man can love his wife more that he's done. Love your wife and children but please invest home.

I visited a friend in NY during my stay in June. He moved into the US around 2017. He had secured his green card and currently erecting a big mansion in lagos. He told me he wouldn't have been able to achieve half of what he had today, had he succumbed to his wife's pressure of relocating with him. This guy lives in one room apartment with a shared kitchen, toilet and sitting room with his neighbours. He'd have rented at least, 2 bed apartment at a huge sum, paid for kids care . Though public schools are free but there are hidden fees, which you can't avoid in schools. You'd work your heart out and in the end, with little to show for it. I told him to still keep his wife in Nigeria until after he's done with his house and hotel projects in Nigeria otherwise, he'd have himself to blame.

I had a neighbour who recently moved with her husband with 3 kids after a long wait for their immigrant visa approval. The husband was living in one bed apartment in Bronx before the family came. Just last week, the man was saying he had been going through stress already. He said the last time he was so stressed whas when he was in Nigeria with his wife of nearly 18 years. He said she has never changed. This lady pressurised him for 5 good years despite coming home every year to see them and spending 2 good weeks each time. I told him to deal with it. She's barely 2 months in America and she's started asking for a car of her own already. She's not even gotten a job yet.

My brother, See we Men have good intentions when we love women in our lives. But u see the system there overly empowers them to misbehave towards their husbands. Aside that, any other struggle to keep your family together is good.

I think what the men need to do is, to have them and the kids abroad but don't leave with them to avoid see finished, you can get an apartment for her and the kids while you check on them maybe weekend

I see ur point too. I think the advantage and rest of mind of leaving them and take adequate care of them in Nigeria outweigh bringing them over. Many men have become destitute because of this good - will decision.
