Now official: Chevrolet will launch a pickup truck that will challenge the Fiat Toro The new Chevy truck is only addressed to South America so far. According to preliminary data, the model will celebrate its premiere next year. Now it has been officially announced: there will be a truck, its production will be set up in Brazil. GM also noted that the pickup is part of the company’s current investment cycle in South America. Recall that in 2019, the concern allocated 10 billion reais for the development of Chevy and its Brazilian factories, and part of the funds have already been spent – for example, on launching the local assembly of the latest generation Tracker crossover (the predecessor was supplied there from Mexico). Then the investments were frozen – a pandemic prevented. However, at the beginning of this year, the program was restarted.
