Detty December actually originated from Ghana several years ago. Nigeria only started in 2024.
The Nigerian govt should promote it more and make it better? But not to knowledge that the term"Detty December" was coined from another country (Ghana)? That is stealing an idea and it is not honourable. There is no big deal in using a term or idea that someone else originated but the right thing is to acknowledge the first person that brought the idea. If you don't do that it means you are copying or stealing people's idea .

The ACF should engage the Federal Government directly instead of airing their grievances in public. This is not the same FG of Jonathan and Buhari that they used to lobby for their own interests. This FG is led by President Tinubu who is a Yoruba and a Christian.
