So I went to see me doc, he requested I go hav a scan/cervical measurement (Co's of past mc @ 19wks), but all was fine, I thot I was 11wks but sono said 9+4 (probably Co's I. Had long cycles and ovulate late) so he is puttin in a cerclage at 13wks, he now gave me Ventolin tabs, to help relax my uterine muscles and prevent any contractions,
Pls has anyone ever taken ventolin or sabutamol to prevent preterm labor? I read it online some pple saying it makes dem jumpy or have heart palpitations.

We are so close! Am 9+5

Try cucumber at night (by morning u wld open ur bowel with a lot of gas too)
Start ur day with fruits

First, hope you are feeling better after treating the Malaria?

Bloating may be as a result of you swallowing air along side your food, so dont gulp your food.
It can also be caused by gas-producing foods ( onions, cabbage, beans, fried foods and sugary foods) so you may want to go easy on such foods.

For the constipation,( which is the cause of your bloating), increase your fibre intake, spread your meals, drink a lot of water so that the water keeps pushing the food thru the digestive tract, exercise.
Also note that eating fruits immediately after eating is wrong. Fruits are acidic and start reacting with the food in the slow moving digestive tract. This causes production of gas (bloating).
It is advisable to eat fruits before eating or @ least 2hrs after eating.

Know that digestion is slow in pregnancy cos one hormone like that is secreted to slow all muscles down.

So if you do all above and see no change, its part of the preggie package

Hello doctors, please can I use chloroquine, am 8 weeks plus pregnant

The only safe malaria drug in first trimester is quinine. Low dose quinine 300mg can be used though 600mg is the recommended dose. Many doctors don't use 600mg cos quinine can abort at high dose(higher than 600mg ooo). Let your doctor write quinine for u. Malaria in preg isn't good can lead to miscarriage or low birth weight babies. All the best

Thanks it's from the test carried out this morning. The doctor said it's two way, he couldn't ascertain my baby would be fine so I just refused treatment.
