5 days after he was abducted by unknown gunmen at his farm in Adamawa state, Hon Sani Ribadu, the younger brother of former EFCC Chairman, Nuhu Ribadu has regained his freedom. According to a family source, he returned unhurt. It is however not clear whether any ransom was paid for his release.

Actor and model IK Ogbonna has revealed how he met his Colombian bombshell girlfriend Sonia Morales. According to what he said on Trending TV show which I just watched, he met Sonia on instagram a few months ago while he was trolling the picture sharing site after a bitter break up. Furious protesters burned several vehicles and threw firebombs at a southern Mexican state’s headquarters on Saturday after authorities indicated that gang hitmen slaughtered 43 missing students.
More than 300 students, many wearing masks, descended on the Guerrero government headquarters and burned around 10 vehicles, including trucks.
Mexico was confronted with one of the grisliest massacres in years of drug violence after gang suspects confessed to slaughtering 43 missing students and dumping their charred remains in a river.
The confessions may have brought a tragic end to the mystery, but parents of the victims refuse to accept they are dead until DNA tests confirm their identities, saying the government has repeatedly told them lies.
“It appears that the federal government, with great irresponsibility, is interested in closing this matter because it’s all based in testimony. There is nothing definitive,” Meliton Ortega, uncle of a missing student, told AFP news agency on Saturday.

An attacker with a knife has killed two soldiers guarding a gate at Sudan’s presidential palace before being shot dead by other troops, the president’s press secretary has said.
The sword-wielding man, described as “insane,” stabbed a guard and snatched his gun to kill him before fatally firing at another, and was then shot dead himself.
President Omar Hassan al-Bashir was not in Khartoum’s Republican Palace when the attack took place on Saturday, Emad Ahmed told Reuters. Bashir was at his official residence in another part of the capital at the time of the attack, the press secretary said.
“A little while ago someone attacked soldiers who guarded one of the gates of the palace and [the soldiers] fired on him,” Ahmed said.
“[He] did not respond to calls to stop and was shot dead. Two soldiers were killed during the attack by someone who seemed to be suffering from a mental illness,” he said, adding that an investigation was under way.
In a statement, Army spokesman Colonel Al-Sawarmy Khaled Saad named the attacker as Salah Kafi Quwa, and said he was originally from the town of Kadugli in South Kordofan state, where rebels are battling the Khartoum government.
The 70-year-old president came to power in a 1989 coup. He announced last month he plans to run for office again next year.
