My take from this is, he was likely around 55 years and in 2013 when he started planning to risk almost all his life work for the refinery. Now he's almost 70 and just beginning to enjoy the fruits of the project. Yet a lot of 30-, 40-something year olds keep thinking it's too late to start a new phase of their lives!

No money, no job, no accommodation. You're going to another state to hustle and most likely they'll welcome you with open arms and help you get on your feet. Then in a few years time when you're a little bit stable you'll start claiming you developed the state.

You had a whole year to plan on how to be paying your rent, just 5k monthly savings would have saved you all this problem but you waited till the rent expired and started hoping on God. Now you're looking for another 6months notice so that you can live rent free. Isn't that wickedness? Your landlord is probably tired and just wants you out to prevent unnecessary stress

I personally would not encourage her to return home since home is not better in any way, and considering how much she has spent to get there, but if she's absolutely convinced that's the best option for her then she should follow through.
