This is one thing I love about Loco.
He no dey fight anyone.
I may not like the way he promote some stocks on this platform but I sure love his mature responses to criticism.
Loco the special one grin

Stockpromoter:
Mankind2024, I think this goes beyond constructive criticism and begins to look like a personal attack.

If you disagree with someone’s stock picks, the strongest response is to present the facts: the company’s financials, valuation, liquidity, risks, and reasons why you believe the investment is poor. Let other forum members examine the evidence and make their own decisions.

Stock promotion is not automatically manipulation, just as criticising a stock does not automatically make someone right. What matters is whether the information being shared is factual, balanced, and transparent.

Calling someone’s stocks rotten, accusing them of seeking exit liquidity, and describing other members as potential victims are serious insinuations. Such claims should be backed by specific evidence, not assumptions or personal judgments.

We are all here to learn, share ideas, debate investment opportunities, and make better decisions. Nobody owns the market, and nobody has a monopoly on investment knowledge.

Challenge the analysis, not the analyst. Present the facts, not personal accusations. Let the market and the fundamentals determine who is right.

This forum will be a better place when we hold every stock opinion to the same standard of evidence, regardless of who makes it.

Emefiele was simply distracted.

If you were building a 700 unit housing estate wouldnt you too be distracted. grin

mikeapollo:
Emefiele was just a disaster, especially the way he handled the change of the currency notes, making people to suffer and die while they had money in the banks but could not access it.
For me, the sacking of a person like Sanusi and appointment of a clueless, inept and misguided Emefiele as CBN governor is one of the low points that cast a big dent on the legacy of Jonathan's administration!

Women get the dream wrong when the dream is not to be a wife and mother.
You cannot want to chase after career and have a successful marriage.
If you purse career forget about marriage and stay single.

Waste management will continue to be a problem in Lagos state until people start paying for waste collection service.
The developed countries we want to be like don't pack refuse for free.
South Africans monthly waste collection fees.
In Nigeria we want everything free and complain when it's not reliable.

It’s a real problem in Lagos. Waste management issues plus very bad inner roads.

Access Bank Ghana will pay a GH¢0.6240 final dividend on 5 November, up 71 percent on last year, with shares going ex-dividend on
Access Bank (Ghana) Plc will pay shareholders a final dividend of GH¢0.6240 a share on 5 November 2026, up 71 percent on last year even though profit nearly halved.

Shareholders approved the payout for the year ended 31 December 2025 at the bank’s 18th annual general meeting on 19 June 2026. The shares go ex-dividend on Thursday, 22 October. Investors who buy before that date will receive the dividend, and those who buy on or after it will not. Shareholders on the register at close of business on Monday, 26 October, will qualify.

The bank’s 2025 annual report puts the total payout at GH¢108.55 million. That is about 38 percent of its earnings per share of 165 pesewas. At the closing price of GH¢20.75 on 13 October, the dividend gives a yield of about 3 percent. The bank paid GH¢0.3645 a share for 2024.

The higher payout comes despite a weaker year. Profit after tax fell 47 percent to GH¢286.5 million in 2025, from GH¢536.9 million in 2024. Net operating income dropped to GH¢1.46 billion from GH¢1.97 billion. Asset quality also worsened. The non-performing loan ratio jumped to 9.16 percent from 2.08 percent, and the capital adequacy ratio eased to 17.70 percent from 19.22 percent.

The balance sheet grew. Total assets rose about 15 percent to GH¢19.02 billion, and gross loans grew 38 percent to GH¢5.23 billion. Shareholders’ equity passed GH¢2 billion for the first time, which the bank said came entirely from retained earnings.

The stock has been volatile this year. It opened 2026 at GH¢16.20 and reached GH¢31.90 on 18 June, the day before the general meeting. It has since fallen back to GH¢20.75, still well above where it started the year.

The bank will pay the dividend into shareholders’ bank or mobile money accounts.

I should pat him on the head for posting the lies he posted? It is his responsibility to ensure he was posting the right information.
I was first to commend his posts until I started noticing that the data did not align at all.
And when he reported dividend yield of 0.00 for my Accesscorp, I knew he didnt know what he was posting.
We are talking about the heart beat of many people.
Instead he ought to post an apology.

ghm:
You guys are supposed to just highlight the issue with the analysis—with a good attitude—or share your corrected versions. He will take a look and update it.

I remember when I posted some calculations and omitted a key item that could have drastically affected my result. Some very senior and knowledgeable people here pointed it out. But the manner of humility and respect they did it with made me redo the calculations and repost.

@Essentialone1, please don't be discouraged. I enjoy the post and look forward to more.

MTN P/E ratio is around 12-13X not 24.88X as stated by you.
either you dont know how to calculate P/E or you are deliberately misleading people...
haba you doubled their P/E ratio....the shares of mtn would have to be 1600 to have P/E of 24.88...

The P/E ratio is 12-13X and that too is the trailing P/E now the forward P/E which is much lower....

Nigerians are hoping for a government that will come to power and give them ease of life. I hope so too but realitistical it won't happen.
There are very few countries in the world where life is easy.
Nigerians should stop hoping on government and trust God to help them.
From shagari government that I know and experienced to this present one, Nigerians have been on the receiving end of hardship.
