Hope you dnt mind this slight off topic post. Just bought a new galaxy tab 4 and the most informations I put on the sd card keep getting currupted. Tried different sd cards with same result. Is this a general problem ?

Please I have a problem with my tecno D5 I forgot to backup the default recovery mode now I flashed the wrong custom recovery and it's not booting into recovery.

move the scatter file and the recovery image to same folder now, after done with all, launch spflash tools import the scatter file .txt then you will see many options like this from the screenshot below.`
since you want to fix recovery mode only then, you need to tick only recovery
now, import the recovery image click on start at the top make sure you remove your battery while you click start.
Now finally put your battery you should see a yelow icon loading and eventualy it should turn green
congratulations CWM is back to your device.
NOTE: i dont have much time to post if you also have a dead device you need to follow the same procedures just that you will need to look for the correct preloader,boot image, recovery image,system and others then you flash it using the same methhod then your dead phone will be back to life.

Evenings guys, i know the stress you pass through when you have your bootlogo staring at you for hours. i was once a victim of this and i knpw how i felt then.If your phone hangs at boot logo that means a soft brick then if it is not powering on at all or just vibrating then that is a hard brick.

now go to and search for the preloader, boot img, recovery img, and others or better still you can extract all that from the same version of the phone using mtkdriod check here

now after that, launch sp flash tools import the scatter file make sure the scatter file and other files you want tto flash are contained in the same folder.
the files should automatically be loaded there if not, import it manually from the folder you saved it earlier.
plug your phone to pc without the battery then click the the start button. at this jusction, you will need to put the battery and the flashing will start you will see a yellow icon moving just wait till all turn green

this is the final step boot to recovery then wipe /factory reset....congratulation your dead phone is back to life
