hello everyone, especially the veterans here. Good job I see you doing here to assist interested persons. My wife is a registered nurse and midwife here and has been working in hospitals since 2010. She also finished her BNSc this year. Recently we have been pondering on the possibility for her to travel overseas to work as a registered nurse. Please advise on which of these countries (US, Canada, UK, Australia) is an ideal destination i.e in terms of professional exams and licencing processing, duration of process, costs and other evaluation/conversion processes. Is her prospect quite bright? Of what relevance and level of acceptance is WES in Canada and US, cos someone recently told me about this. How would you advise we start the process towards her immigration. I need you help and advise folks, would be expectant. Thanks a lot. |
@abujaniv Kudos to you for a great job on here. I had a tourist visa interview on Sept 16, and I was denied and given the 216b letter. I was to attend a religious conference in PA, USA from Oct 18-21. Although I am an assistant resident pastor in my church, on my application form I filled in my admin job in FRCN to show my tie back home. I am also married (2 yrs) and with a child. The CO asked for what I do, and I told her about my admin job, for consistency sake, and shortly after mentioned my pastoral role. She asked for my admin roles and i told her has I had it on my application. I had all necessary supporting documents with me, which as I have now realized, were not checked. I would like to understand specifically why I was denied, and if I can re-apply soon. Will it be more advisable to fill in my pastoral role in my application form to attend a religious conference instead of my FRCN job to indicate a strong connection between my role and the program I intend to attend? Thank you. |

I am about to buy a VW Passat 2003 2.0L. It is a registered car actually, but in good and buy & drive state. It would be my first car. I have been reading some reviews and I've noticed the high maintenance costs and low fuel economy ratings. I would like to know if I am making a right decision of choice of car, my people no go spare me if the car come they give us headaches. I would also want to know if the cost of maintenance is quite affordable and other info in between. I really need you quick advice, @Siena and other gurus in here. God bless you. |
I am a bloody rookie on this, although i have been following this thread for some months now. I plan to apply for PR, and just did my IELTS sha and dey await result, got BSc and about 5 working yrs. I am considering working with an agent to handle the process for me, I hope this is okay. I have not confirmed this to him (the agent) yet but he told me what i would need and his terms. He seem real and trustworthy, my research on him so far suggests no red flags. Is there anything i can do now while i await the IELTS result to fast track the visa process, i learnt it takes a few months at times before i get the visa. I would want to have the visa on or before Nov. 31 abeg. I would really appreciate if the gurus and experienced peeps here can advise appropriately. God bless. |
