It'll take a real miracle for Gerrard Martin to make it here as a first team regular. No matter how good he becomes, it'll be very difficult for him simply because he looks like a comedian/diplomat from Pakistan/India. He just doesn't look like a serious CB that can strike fear in the eyes of the opponent. He sometimes look really clumsy but he's doing fine to be honest.

This may sound controversial and I'm not judging from last game but I think he's better at CB than LB, hes also a better LCB than Eric Garcia. He wins more duels and his "passing from the back is more clean because he's left footed and plays the LCB"

But like I said, his face doesn't look serious at all. If he looked like the guy below, may be he would've been trusted by now because for me, he looked better there. Was good during pre season and the last two Laliga games at CB.

At the end of the day, football isn't by looks and if he's good enough he'll play enough simple.

I'll like to see him Vs a serious contender in the UCL before praising him fully.

Araujo got a red card. It was his choice to lunge into that challenge when he knew he was on a yellow card. He left his team a man down. Yes it's unfair to single out a player but sometimes when a players action or inaction, directly affected the result, then you'd have no choice.

As for Riqui Puig, my only issue with him, was his refusal to go out on loan when he had the chance. He chose to stay at Barca and ruined his career. Now he's playing at MLS at 26.

This people never really serious. I don't think even with Pedri on the pitch we would have won. A draw... Possible but very doubtful. I mean we only had one shot on target and probably like just one clear chance that Ferran Torres wasted.

One major problem I saw us had was that our intensity was very poor. While intensity was lacking we did actually played shitty.

I remember saying some weeks back that with this our current form and play, we'll get bodied by teams with top notch intensity.

This is very evident in that Sevilla match where we lost in shambolic fashion. Sevilla applied same pressure Chelsea did.... Leaving no spaces for us to play, always pressing, never giving up the ball and very fast counter attackers. Nerve wrecking intensity from start to finish. Our players couldn't catch a break and then having a weakling like De Jong coordinating the midfield and it's already a recipe for disaster.

Any team that holds such weaponry will easily beat us black and blue.

They already see it as a huge financial boost.

When I was doing research about the expected income we'll earn from the New Camp Nou after completion, it was estimated on average €272mn per season and €372mn in the most optimistic projections. This is just money earned from the stadium and associated hospitality (hotels & museum) alone. Not shirts sales or sponsorship revenue.

Which means Barca will be swimming in premium money from 2028. 😎

In comparison, before Barca started renovations, we were getting close to €100mn per season on the Camp Nou. And that time we dey get revenue of almost €1bn per season. Come imagine what our revenue will be when we're making almost 3 times the revenue on the same stadium (and this is the minimum projection).

That's why I dey laugh when some peeps dey say we still in massive debt due to the loan we obtained for the construction. The project already pays for itself.

Na EPL clubs I dey pity that period when it comes, cos na there we go too farm players. I wan remind them how they used to call us Brokelona some years back. Barca will be swimming in too much money by 2030 e go be like oil money thanks to the completion of the Espai Barca project.

We'd easily be able to bankroll transfer fees that EPL clubs like Liverpool and City are currently spending.
