The All Progressives Congress (APC) Ward Chairman of Yandoton Daji in Tsafe Local Government Area of Zamfara State, Alhaji Yusuf Yahaya, has been killed by unidentified gunmen. The police said the deceased was killed at about 1:00 am on Saturday while on his way home from Tsafe. Police spokesman, SP Mohammed Shehu, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) that the state Commissioner of Police, Celestine Okoye, had visited the area. He said that the incident had not affected the conduct of ongoing presidential and national assembly elections in the area. Chairman of Tsafe Local Council, Alhaji Aliyu Abubakar, had earlier told newsmen in Gusau on Saturday that Abubakar and one other person were killed by the gunmen while four others sustained injuries. “He was killed along with another supporter of the party and other four persons were injured. “The deceased left Tsafe for his village on Friday night after collecting his tag as the APC agent in the area in preparation for today’s (Saturday) election,’’ he said. The chairman said another set of unidentified gunmen also attacked Wanzamai village in the same area and kidnapped many villagers, including wife of Alhaji Sanusi Wanzamai, a Commissioner with state electoral commission. Abubakar commiserated with the families of the deceased and prayed Allah to grant them Aljanatul Firdausi. His words, ‘’Those who sustained injuries in the attack have already been admitted in the hospital for treatment. ‘’We are appealing to the security agents for more intervention in the area and the state at large; we are also appealing to people of the area to remain calm, as they come out to vote for candidates of their choice.” https://shelegangan.com.ng/2019/02/23/nigeria-decides-gunmen-kill-apc-chairman/

Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu has warned Biafrans against voting for the All Progressives Congress, APC, at today’s presidential election. The IPOB leader issued the warning on Friday night in a live broadcast monitored by DAILY POST. Kanu warned that voting for APC will be like voting for ‘Nazi Party’ as the battle for the 2019 presidency is between President Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress and Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP. Warning Igbos to stay safe, the IPOB leader warned that members of the ruling party are evil, hence must be voted out. Kanu said: “As the zoo is planning to vote we are here to guide you and listen to what I have to say because the enemies are coming looking for an excuse to launch their Jihad “One thing is clear about the choice that confronts our people, I declare that we are sending a message to the caliphate of Zoo republic that or people are campaigning for a Fulani man that killed our people during the war. “In case you do not know the killing of our people started in 1945 till now, voting for APC is like asking to vote for the Nazi Party. “For some reason, these Igbo leaders have chosen to ignore Buhari from Sudan war by campaigning for Buhari. “In as much as I have no desire to have our people participate in this sham of an election, if APC gets up to 100vote I know our people are not serious. “I want the cabal in the north to understand that the killing of unarmed innocent lives must be punished, everybody must make sure you protest against APC. “As you go out today stay safe.APC has no stake in the lives of our people, its members are evil. ” We are against everything APC has done in the land. You must protest against APC by showing a complete rejection of the party and everything it represents. “Send them a clear message that our land is not for APC. Today is a clear opportunity to deliver that message that we are against everything that APC represents. “Elohim all those that have defeated IPOB will fall before us because our vision is divine. “Even today as they gather against the innocent, not for any sins, please have mercy upon us because of our purity destroy all the wicked, do not be merciful upon them. “Rise up and help us your children on this day in the land of Biafra. Let your will be done on our life.” https://shelegangan.com.ng/2019/02/23/buhari-vs-atiku-nnandi-kanu-finally-declares-position-tells-igbos-who-to-vote-today/

Political thugs suspected to have sympathies for Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Thursday allegedly attacked the convoy of Vice President Yemi Osinbajo in Ilorin, the Kwara state capital. The attack is said to have culminated in life-threatening gunshots, which left at least two supporters of the APC injured. Many others allegedly got seriously injured while running for their lives. But a police source revealed the incident, which happened around Isale-Koko, Ilorin suburb, occurred when the Vice President’s convoy had left the area. When contacted, spokesperson of the state police command Ajayi Okasanmi could not confirm the incident. Reacting on the development APC governorship candidate in the state Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq condemned “the brazen attack today in Ilorin on the convoy of the Vice President Prof Yemi Osinbajo by armed PDP thugs.” In a statement by his media aide, Rafiu Ajakaye, Abdulrazaq said: “The vice president was at Isale Aluko suburb of Ilorin on a door-to-door campaign when some dare-devil gunmen opened fire at his convoy which included thousands of APC members and supporters. “In what is a reminiscence of the Offa robbery, this attack is the height of recklessness on the part of these street urchins who have long been empowered and armed by the discredited dynasty to terrorise our community and anyone who has contrary views to their amala politics. The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, has warned President Muhammadu Buhari ahead of Saturday’s elections. Abubakar warned that history would condemn Buhari if Saturday’s presidential election was not free and fair. The former Vice President, who spoke on Tuesday in Abuja, also alleged that the All Progressives Congress (APC) had equipped many of their members with unnamed devices that could slow down or quicken the Smart Card Readers during the presidential poll. According to Abubakar, “So, if you are in the South-South, South-East and North-Central, you are likely to get your card readers to be slowed by those APC operatives. “We have seen the machines; we have interviewed some of those who have gone on this training, and we have passed that information to the campaign council to pass to you. “But if you are from the North-West or North-East the tendency is that they will use these machines to fast-track the reading of your card readers, so that many of their supporters can vote while disenfranchising the other three zones.” Abubakar stated that Buhari must ensure the presidential poll was free, fair and credible, adding that if he does so and wins, “then the people will commend you for it but otherwise, history will condemn you for it but before history does that, we will condemn you for it.” https://shelegangan.com.ng/2019/02/20/nigeria-elections-atiku-warns-buhari-ahead-of-saturday-presidential-poll/

Hi Guys, The story of a missing plane which has Emiliano Sala on board is no news again. On wednesday, the wreckage of the plane was found and this morning, the body of Emiliano Sala was found in the plane. May his soul rest in perfect peace. Now there seem to be a real thug of war between Cardiff City and Nantes where Sala took off for a complete his medicals ahead of a possible transfer with both sides and the player agreeing terms and conditions of the transfer. Nantes are asking to be paid the transfer fee as agreement had earlier been reached but Cardiff City has refused to do so because they said they have not received the player yet. How person go pay for something wey him never use or see? Nantes insisted that the player wouldn’t have left the camp or the team if there had not been a proper agreement between them. Cardiff insisted that since it was Nantes plane that was bringing the player, and they had not received the player yet, or even had proper assessment of him, they can’t pay for him yet. They wouldn’t even pay if he had failed his medicals so why will they pay for him when he is even yet to get to their camp? So Guys Do You Think Cardiff FC Has A Point For Not Paying? Do You Think Nantes FC, Should Get Any Money For Sala’s Transfer? Let’s hear your side too guys.. Drop your comments.. https://shelegangan.com.ng/2019/02/08/football-lovers-gather-here-if-you-are-the-owner-of-cardiff-fc-will-you-pay-nantes-the-transfer-fee-for-emiliano-sala/

The Nigerian Air Force, NAF, has deployed airwomen and female air officers, known as Women of War, for military operations in the North-East. The female military personnel, according to Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshall Sadique Abubakar are actively involved in the on-going counter-insurgency operation with special forces against Boko Haram terrorists and other criminal elements. Air Marshal Abubakar told PRNigeria that NAF is a gender-sensitive service that encouraged its personnel to explore their potentials without inhibition in the armed forces. The Air Force Chief said: “We call them Women of War as they are well trained to engage in combat and combat support operations for peace, security and national development. “The female personnel like their male counterparts, help in neutralizing insurgents during air strike missions, while also providing tactical supports for the ground troops. “Some of our airwomen and female officers are regular combatants who have completed specialised training at home and abroad. Some of them regularly fly Beechcraft, a special fighter plane used for gathering intelligence, carrying out surveillance and reconnaissance. “In the last few months, they courageously flew our aircraft across North-Eastern states, especially in Borno and the fringe of Lake Chad to detect and strike at insurgents’ locations. They fly sometimes between four to six hours on the ISR platform. “The Women of War have continued to showcase their professional capacity as fearless and courageous military personnel as pilots, loadmasters, aircraft maintenance engineers, aerospace engineers, armament specialists, squad leaders, combatants, loadmasters, Military police, and air traffic controllers among others.” While the NAF’s Women of War are productive and adding value to the service in critical specialties, some of them are currently undergoing various studies in combat operations and aircraft maintenance. President Muhammadu Buhari only got to know about the trial of the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Walter Onnoghen, at the Code of Conduct Tribunal on Saturday, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has stated. He also expressed sadness over the trial of the National President of Nigerian Bar Association, Paul Usoro (SAN). It was reported that while the CJ had been scheduled to face trial at the CCT over the non-declaration of assets, Usoro is standing trial by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission on account of payments received from Akwa Ibom governor for job done. The Federal Government has, meanwhile, ordered the discontinuation of Onnoghen’s arraignment. While absolving Buhari of pre-arranging the trial of Onnoghen for non declaration of assets, Osinbajo said Buhari never had any fact of financial misdemeanor involving the CJN until Saturday evening. He expressed regrets that the CJN had to go through the process. He, however, said Buhari had issued specific instructions that anti-graft institutions should be allowed to do their jobs without any interference. The Vice President made these clarifications in Abuja on Wednesday during a one-day conference organised by Online Publishers Association of Nigeria, with the theme: “Free Press and objective reporting in the 2019 election year.” He Said; “I must tell you in clear terms that, for President Muhammadu Buhari, his whole approach is that institutions should just do their work. “I can tell you for a fact that he did not even know about this (CJN trial) until Saturday evening. I don’t feel good about it that senior members of my profession are being tried. “He did not even know that there was going to be any kind of trial until Saturday evening. “He had said categorically, ‘Don’t interfere with whatever institutions are doing.’ Sometimes, it has consequences such as we have today, such that people say, ‘How can such an important person be subjected to trial without the Federal Government?’ “But I can tell you without any equivocation that he (Buhari) was not aware.” Do You Believe Prof. Yemi Osinbajo ![]() Drop your comments https://shelegangan.com.ng/2019/01/16/do-you-believe-this-buhari-wasnt-aware-of-onnoghens-trial-until-saturday-osinbajo/

A coalition of Niger Delta agitators, under the aegis of Niger Delta Watchdogs and Coalition of Niger Delta Agitators, have vowed to shut down Nigeria if the Federal Government fails to withdraw its charges against the Chief Justice of the Federation, CJN, Walter Onnoghen. The agitators warned those working under the Buhari government to “watch their back” if the administration goes ahead with what they termed “harassment” of the CJN. In a statement signed by John Dakku, the agitators also warned all non indigenes who owned oil wells in the coastal area to prepare to vacate their zone. Stressing that Buhari has never been disposed to the appointment of the CJN, the agitators said that was why he delayed his appointment as the country’s chief law office after many months in acting capacity. The statement stated that Onnoghen was suffering because he hails from the south south zone. The statement reads: “The General Assembly of the Coalition of Niger Delta Agitators is shocked to learn about the arraignment of the Chief Justice of the Federal Republic of Nigeria Justice Walter Onnoghen over allegations of his false declaration of assets based on a petition written by one Mr. Dennis Aghanya of the Anti-Corruption and Research Based Data Initiative. The CJN is suffering just because he is from the minority area of the South South the Niger Delta region. This is definitely a petition plotted by the Presidency to forcefully remove the incumbent CJN from office and replace him with a Northerner. “In the first instance, President Muhammadu Buhari was not disposed to Justice Onnoghens appointment to this position which is why he refused to confirm the appointment after so many months of serving in Acting capacity. It was during the period of his sickness while in Britain that the Acting President Prof. Osinbajo confirmed the appointment. We wish to also recall that in August last year, Mr. Matthew Seiyefa of Bayelsa State who was the most senior and most qualified officer at the time was appointed to the position of Acting Director-General of the Department of State Security by Prof. Osinbajo, only to be replaced with a retired and junior officer to Mr. Seiyefa, Mr. Yusuf Magji Bichi by President Buhari as soon as he resumed duties. We hereby vehemently resist any attempt to remove CJN Walter Onnoghen from office. “These go to confirm that there is a high level of hatred, injustice, discrimination and marginalization of the Niger Delta region by the APC-led government over the past three years. “Before the 2015 elections, we can recall several events that took place in the political arena which can now be confirmed were done to discredit the government of President Goodluck Jonathan. Nationwide protests in 2012 led by top labour leaders and Civil Rights activists including the current APC National Chairman, Adams Oshiomhole, Professor Wole Soyinka, Femi Falana, and Festus Keyamo greeted the government of the day against the removal of oil subsidy and resultant increases in the pump prices of the nations petroleum products. After much persistence, government had to bow to the will of the people. “During the campaign for re-election in 2015, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan a South South indigene was attacked in Bauchi state, we also witnessed how Northerners and Yorubas embarrassed him, even those he trusted betrayed him and did everything possible to remove him because he is from a minority tribe in Niger Delta. Therefore, we want to inform Nigerians and the International Community that any attempt for President Buhari to continue in office beyond May 2019 will be resisted by all means necessary. If they succeed in rigging election and bring back Buhari, then Nigeria should prepare to exist without the Niger Delta oil, Niger Delta will not be part of Nigeria anymore. The Northerners should also prepare to leave the Niger Delta if President Buhari contiue beyond May 2019; we are prepared to strike once and for all and declare our Sovereign Niger Delta Republic. https://shelegangan.com.ng/2019/01/14/onnoghen-niger-delta-militants-blow-hot-reveal-whatll-happen-to-nigeria-if-buhari-govt-arraign-cjn/

Musiliu Akinsanya, aka MC Oluomo, is set to be flown abroad for further treatment after he was stabbed at the recently held Lagos APC campaign rally. A close aide of the union leader made it known that MC Oluomo would travel any time soon as plans had been concluded for his treatment by a specialist in the United States where he is a citizen. The aide said: “He was stabbed in the neck and by the side with what they call makanje (poisoned knife). He is a citizen of the United States, so there cannot be any problem with his medical treatment abroad. In fact, he will be flown out in a few days for better medical care. Contrary to what they are saying, Baba (MC Oluomo) is not dead.” No fewer than three police vans were keeping guard at the hospital – Eko Hospital – where the patient is being treated. MC Oluomo was among the people injured at the inauguration of the All Progressives Congress campaign at the Sky Power Ground, Ikeja, on Tuesday. Three journalists also sustained gunshot injuries as rival factions of the NURTW had clashed at the event. MC Oluomo was allegedly stabbed in the neck and side with a knife. The spokesman for the Lagos State Police Command, Chike Oti, said, “A total 16 suspects have now been arrested in connection with the clash. ELECTION CAMPAIGN!! 1 Solid Reason Why APC/Buhari Will Beat PDP/Atiku Hello Patriotic Nigerians, Before I proceed, I need to say this out that “Am not an APC or PDP loyalist“, am just a common Nigerian who understand the importance of good Governance but sadly never witness it ever since I was born. The Presidential Election is fast approaching and the Parties are doing everything within their power to get Votes from Nigerians by crook or by hook We understand all their ways, we are used to it, no be today MY POINTS HERE However, I think when Campaiging for votes, Party/Political candidates need to do the right thing by letting the People know their intentions instead of castigating other Party candidates. I think PDP really needs to desist from this to avoid the exact problem they had in 2015 when Buhari contested against Goodluck Jonathan. The Problem I have watched over 50 Videos on Youtube lately with PDP’s Atiku & Obi Campaign video showing up constantly. PDP is really spending on Ads but sadly all the Videos are attacking APC & Buhari instead of focusing on What and what Nigerians will enjoy if they become/emerge the Winner of the Election. ➨ We all know Buhari or APC have not done enough for us in the last 3 Years (Stop telling us) ➨ We know PDP didn’t do anything in 16 years too (So don’t come here painting anyone black when you are guilty also. ➨ Atiku should tell us what to expect from him and leave Buhari alone. Guys, Do You Think Atiku Can Win If He Continues Badmouthing Buhari? We sincerely want to hear from you all on this important issue. Thank you your view Guys >>>>https://shelegangan.com.ng/2019/01/10/election-campaign-1-solid-reason-why-apc-buhari-will-beat-pdp-atiku-you-agree/

Here is the video below; Recall that we reported earlier that Simi and Adekunle Gold will be holding their traditional wedding yesterday, and their White wedding today, after they got engaged and held a wedding introduction December last year. According to the report, 300 guests will be attending Simi and Adekunle Gold’s wedding, 3 weeks after they did their secret wedding introduction in Magodo, Lagos. The secrecy of the event shouldn’t come as a surprise to many, as the couple have always kept their relationship private. watch full video here>>>> https://shelegangan.com.ng/2019/01/10/simi-and-her-bridesmaid-dancing-shaku-shaku-at-her-trad-wedding-yesterday/

The body of a half-naked woman was found stuffed into a suitcase and dumped in rubbish bin as police in Ukraine launched a murder inquiry. Daria Bilous was just 19 and was found curled up in the suitcase wearing just a bra and jeans. Witnesses saw five unknown men disposing of the bag containing the student’s body before vanishing. Forensic tests show the student, who was attending a vocational college in Dnipro city, died from strangulation. She also suffered a strong blow with a blunt instrument to her neck, law enforcement sources say. A resident said: “A neighbour from our apartment block said that at 10pm yesterday he saw five men walking in the yard and throwing the suitcase in the garbage bin.” She added that a “homeless man” examined the bag in the bin, and saw it contained a body. Locals then called police. A video show officers lowering the bin to get to the bag, before opening the suitcase to reveal her body. Witnesses said there were no obvious signs of violence to the body. Ms Bilous had celebrated the New Year in capital city Kiev and then returned to Dniprop in central Ukraine on Thursday, January 3. Nor was it clear who she had travelled with. Police are talking to people in her “social circle” and her online contacts, say reports. The victim is said to have been raised in care, after her parents were deemed incapable of looking after her. https://shelegangan.com.ng/2019/01/08/semi-naked-student-found-dead-in-a-suitcase-and-dumped-in-a-waste-bin-photos/
