@ D-sense really enjoyed your cartoon. quite creative! |
milehigh06:I mean as a captain ![]() Toaskarity:I mean why all the presentations for just one match? BTW there was no reason for that |
For the first time in his career, Joseph Yobo will be lifting a trophy! (even if na one company give am) |
What's with all this presentations? Played one game, win one game and we're feeling like we won the world cup ![]() |
I think the penalty awarded would suit the organisers of the match well. Brilliant marketing strategy ![]() |
What's wrong with this ref ![]() |
5 ADDED MINUTES Whatever happened from now, Nigerians will forever be proud of this achievement. I doubt if any African side has beaten Argentina in a senior international match. Today, Nigeria thrash the same Argentina side that recently beat Spain, Brazil and Portugal. Kudos guys! |
The Argies are getting rougher thereby destroying the fun of the game. What can I say about Ahmed Musa? He's a fantastic young man, full of enterprising runs. The only thing missing in his game? Lack of final delivery |
The Argentines are now finding their rhythm, the game is now better as a competition. |
GOAL NUMBER 4! Emenike just redeemed himself with a brilliant chip over Gabarinni. Nigerians must really be in dreamland |
MISS! How could Emmanuel Emenike miss that? He was left running by a sublime through pass, freely ran at the defence, and with just the keeper to beat, missed this. He'd probably regret it for a long while. If anything untoward happened in this match, Nigerians won't forgive him ![]() |
SECOND HALF The game is about to resume, with two substitutions by Nigeria. Dele Aiyenugba and Ahmed Musa have joined the fray. Bring on the action! |
This first half I've seen is how, I believe, Nigerians want to see their beloved Super Eagles play. Not sure anyone would mind if we were losing by now. But to play like this, you won't lose much. Ask Barcelona! |
cold:@ Cold, really? Surely would be interested ![]() |
Goal number 3, and the best so far! Nsofor finds space on the left, feeds Taiwo who lifts a beautiful inswinger to meet Ike Uche who heads beautifully home. One of the beest goals Super Eagles have scored |
See that turn and shot by Anichebe? I don't think this Argentina team is really representing. Not much competition, Nigeria is just running the show |
Argument about whether that is deserving a call, i think it is. The defender went full body to climb on the striker. If it was anywhere else on the pitch, it would have been a foul, so? |
PENALTY! Taye Taiwo swings a powerful shot into the penalty area and defender Frederico Fazio climbs on Victor Anichebe. Step up Obinna Nsofor who cooly dispatches the resultant kick beyond the keeper. Nigeria leads Argentina 2-0. Incredible stuff |
Obviously Joel Obi is given a free role in this match, and he's been outstanding! How about that looping shot that almost beat the Argies' keeper? He's surely going places, |
In our real first attack, Nigeria scored a goal through the dexterity of Joel Obi who turned his marker neatly on the line before squaring for Ike Uche whose scuffed shot is deflected beyoond the despairing dive of the keeper. Good stuff, the first goal Nigeria has scored against Argentina since 1994. One nill! |
@ Shege Don't worry 'bout Lagos. ACN rules here |
Delta State? That is the worst place to be during election! I was there during the era of Ibori. They (PDP) intimidate you to either vote for them or you're not voting. Period. I've just voted here in Surulere. Things could not be easier the way it is here. Orderly people. Proper process. You just get there, collect the materials after accreditation and vote the party of your choice. Why should people be forced to vote for anybody? Is that democracy? |
this thread should be on homepage |
