Nihilist: I've been more impressed by Coquelin in this game though..
Meanwhile, Sanchez ball control is too good. Ah an kilode. Coquelin gat Xhaka to do some of the dirty work. Ngeue is like a one man army for Everton. He is winning balls all over the pitch. The only player even Sanchez couldn't get past. So far anyway... |

pkasso: Over-reliance on stats na im dey worry una. Not everything that counts can be counted. The emphasis on quantitative data in sports punditry these days is just too much. Whatever happened to the old, intuitive observational scouting skills. It's the age of Opta, Squakwa and Whoscored. We all didn't need the number crunchers at Opta to tell us what a great footballer Zidane was. Numbers don't do justice to Iniesta's abilities as a footballer. He is in my opinion the third best player in the world after Messi and CR7. All this talk of Creativity and productivity by Ibime is just pure sophistry. +1. Statistics are like bikinis. What they reveal is suggestive, but what they conceal is vital. - Aaron L. |
